Hit Row Turns Heel – Attacks Ricochet – On the December 30 episode of WWE SmackDown, Ricochet mocked Top Dolla for his botched dive during SmackDown a few weeks ago. Top Dolla got fired up and shoved Ricochet, and the confrontation led to a match between the two, which was announced for tonight’s episode.
Ricochet then defeated Top Dolla to qualify for the men’s Royal Rumble match. After the bell, Top Dolla offered Ricochet a handshake and raised his arm, but it was all a ruse. Ashante “Thee” Adonis blindsided the former WWE Intercontinental Champion. He hit Ricochet with a super kick before Top Dolla and B-Fab also took part in beating Ricochet down.
In the end, Braun Strowman ran down to the ring to make the save and send Hit Row retreating.
