ROH Final Battle 2022 Results

Estimate PPV Buys For ROH Final Battle – Last Saturday’s Final Battle event was the third Ring of Honor pay-per-view event to be presented by Tony Khan.

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that the early estimates show the event did 25,000 pay-per-view buys (19,000 streaming and 6,400 cable) based on first-week estimates. Meltzer noted that first-week estimates are “always low in the end by five to 10 percent.”

Supercard of Honor in April did 23,000 buys and Death Before Dishonor in July pulled in 37,000 buys.

Although the show was down in the early estimates, it was the biggest PPV number and highest attended ROH Final Battle in company history. The show drew 2,700 fans with 2,500 paid at the College Park Center.

It was headlined by Chris Jericho defending the ROH World Title against Claudio Castagnoli. The show also featured the highly praised double dog collar match for the ROH World Tag Team Titles between The Briscoes (Mark & Jay Briscoe) against FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler).
