AEW To Make Changes To Dynamite And Rampage

AEW To Make Changes To Dynamite And Rampage – AEW made a big hire this week when they signed WWE’s former Vice President of Global Television Production, Mike Mansury.

The belief had been in WWE was that he was being groomed as the eventual replacement for Kevin Dunn, the company’s Executive Producer and Chief of Global Television Distribution, before he left the company as Dunn seemed planted in his position for the foreseeable future.

In AEW, Mansury serves as Senior Vice President and Co-Executive Producer.

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that “part of the deal is that WBD [Warner Bros. Discovery] and [Tony] Khan had decided to change the look of the show. The planned changes are to go into effect in January at some point.”

The extent of these changes is currently unknown. It could be simple changes like graphics or more extreme changes such as a new stage set up or increased production value.

People in WWE were quite high on Mansury, but Dunn “covertly made his life very difficult” when he started rising up the ranks too quickly. After starting with WWE in 2009, Mansury had earned a Vice President title by 2016 before departing in 2020.
