WWE RAW Results (10/17) Oklahoma City, OK – Tonight’s WWE RAW (spoilers here) opens with Bobby Lashley already speaking on the mic from in the ring, going on about Brock Lesnar. He calls Lesnar to the ring.
The music hits and out comes Lesnar to a big pop. Lashley looks on from the ring and Lesnar smiles, but he’s also ready to fight tonight. Lashley finally exits the ring but Lesnar attacks him at ringside, dumping him on his head. Lesnar sends Lashley into the ring post, then scoops him for a big F5 on the floor but Lashley slides out and sends Lesnar face-first into the ring post.
Lashley charges with a big Spear to put Lesnar through the barrier into the timekeeper’s area. Officials rush out to try and restore order as fans go wild. Officials, Superstars and security back Lashley away from the ring while Lesnar tries to recover.
Lashley gets around the group and delivers another big Spear, this time laying Lesnar out on top of the announce table. They tumble to the floor behind the announce table, brawling. They get back up and Lashley quickly puts Lesnar through the announce table with a big Spinebuster. Lashley is backed away from the ringside area while Lesnar is laid out flat on what’s left of the table. Lashley is fired up now. Adam Pearce yells at him from the apron. Lesnar is trying to recover but he’s still down. Lashley tells security he’s good, get away. We go to replays. We come back and Lesnar still has not fully recovered. Lashley looks on while security, officials and Superstars still keep him backed away. We go to commercial.
— We are live from the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, as Corey Graves and Kevin Patrick wecome us to RAW and show what is left of the ringside area near the announce table because of the wild fight between Lashey and Lesnar. It should be noted that there was no usual intro theme.
Gallows & Anderson vs. Alpha Academy
We go back to the ring for tonight’s opener and out comes The O.C. – Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson with AJ Styles. They “too sweet!” and head to the ring as we get a replay of how Gallows and Anderson returned last week. Out next comes Alpha Academy – Otis and Chad Gable.
Gable and Anderson start things off and Anderson with a waist lock but Gable with a wrist lock. Karl with a reversal and Gable with a side head lock take down. Gable with a shoulder tackle. Karl with a hip toss and clothesline followed by a chop. Anderson with a back elbow. Gable is sent into the turnbuckles and Gallows tags in. Otis tags in. Gallows with punches and Otis with a knee and forearm to the back. Otis misses a splash and Gallows with an elbow into the corner. Gallows with Peek-a-Boo uppercuts. Otis with an elbow to Gallows but Gallows with a boot after Otis turns his attention to Anderson.
Karl tags in and he connects with uppercuts to Otis. Gable with a knee to the back and Anderson with a punch. Otis with a splash to the back. Gable with a Harley Race knee that sends Anderson into the ring post.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Otis with a clothesline in the corner to Anderson and then he goes to the turnbuckles for a Vader Bomb but Karl moves. Gallows and Gable tag in and Gallows with clotheslines and an uppercut. Gallows with a running hip into the corner followed by a flying forearm and round kick. Gallows with a thrust kick to send Otis to the floor. Gallows with a twisting side slam. Anderson tags in and they set for Magic Killer but Otis breaks it up. Otis sends Gallows to the floor. Gable with a Northern Lights suplex for a near fall.
Otis misses a splash against the ring steps when he misses Gallows. Gable goes up top and misses a moonsault but Gable grabs the ankle for an ankle lock. Anderson kicks Gable away and hits a spinebuster. Gallows tags in and they hit Magic Killer for the three count.
Winners: Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson
After the match, The Judgment Day’s music plays and Finn Balor mentions Too Sweet. He says the same old crap and no one has seen that before. Priest says we have never seen this before. You thought you accomplished something last week. Priest says the only thing you accomplished last week is guaranteeing getting cooked by THE Judgment Day.
Finn says he started this stupid little club. I made you guys and I will break you guys. We are here to challenge you clowns to a match. It is not going to be tonight. It will take place at Crown Jewel.
AJ takes a mic and he says they accept. AJ says he cannot understand why everyone does this. This is Monday Night Raw. You are standing right there, we are in the ring. Let’s do this right here and right now. Unless you have to ask your mother for permission.
Dominik tells AJ to shut his mouth. Unless you want to be like his dad and run over to the other brand with your tail between your legs because cannot hang with THE Judgment Day.
AJ says Dom is cool and bad as long as he is standing by them. AJ calls Dominik a piece of trash. You turned your back on your father. If you want to run your mouth, how about we do something different tonight. You want to talk the talk, but can you walk the walk. You come to the ring and we can handle business.
Rhea says that Dominik will rip AJ limb from limb. Dominik says he will wipe the floor with AJ and rip him limb from limb. AJ tells Dom to come to the ring. Dom says he isn’t ready right now. When he is ready, he will mop the floor with him, in about an hour or so.
AJ tells Dom to get in his gear, stretch, and drink some water. He says he will do something his father should have done and that is beat the piss out of you. That will be Too Sweet.

In the Arena:
Seth Rollins makes his way to the ring as only Seth Rollins can.
Seth welcomes everyone. He reminds us who he is. He mentions that he is the NEW United States Champion. Seth says for all of you out there who doubt him or the haters out there or stopped believing in him, you can kiss his big, red, beautiful behinds. For all of you who have always had his back and never counted him out, do what you have done and sing his song. Seth cackles. He says tonight is the first defense in what will become the greatest US Championship run of all time. In the main event tonight, he will wipe this mat with Matt Riddle’s face. In doing so, I will clear up the miscommunication that was Extreme Rules.
He says he may have tapped out when Riddle had him in the triangle sleeper, but that was a strategic move. I did that for you because two days later, I had to come to Raw and be in the best possible condition to beat Bobby Lashley to become the new US Champion.
Mustafa Ali’s music interrupts.
Ali congratulates Seth on winning the US Title. He says he was waiting for Seth to give a shout out to Brock for the assist. If you won’t mention it, he won’t. Bobby Lashley promised him he was the next in line. Ali says he gets it that things change and champions change. Ali says his challenge remains the same. Ali says he wants to fight Rollins and he wants to fight for that championship.
Rollins cackles and he asks Ali does he look like Bobby Lashley. He tells Ali that he will have to get to the back of the line since he has to focus on Riddle. Ali has two options. He can party with everyone out here, or he can skedaddle out of Seth’s ring. You do not belong in this ring with him.
Seth cackles and Ali removes Seth’s sunglasses and tosses them away. Ali says it is not going down that way. Ali says you are staring at your next freaking problem. I am not going anywhere and I am not backing down.
Seth says he appreciates what Ali is trying to do and Seth says he likes Ali. He has a lot of respect for Ali. He is one of the best performers in WWE, but you are a better human being. He says he sees what Ali does in the back with the young guys. He is a great friend and father…
Rollins punches Ali and then sends him to the floor. Seth ealks to the floor and says problem solved. Ali attacks Seth from behind and sends him into the ringside barrier. Rollins punches Ali and sends him into the ring post.
— We see a limo with horns and Kevin is shocked who the man in the vehicle with a JBL license plate is.

Dakota Kai and IYO SKY vs. Candice LeRae and Bianca Belair
Iyo and Candice start things off and Iyo with forearms. Candice and Iyo roll over each other and punch each other. Candice with arm drags and a head scissors take down. Bianca tags in and hits a handspring moonsault for a near fall. Iyo escapes a slam and Dakota tags in. Bianca with a waist lock and Dakota with a side head lock. Bianca with a shoulder tackle. Dakota with forearms and a front face lock. Iyo tags in and they go for a double suplex but Bianca lands on her feet and Candice tags in. They hit a double drop kick. Bianca gets Candice on her shoulders and swings Candice to kick Dakota and Iyo. Candice with a baseball slide to Iyo and then Bianca drops Dakota over the top rope to the floor. Candice with a springboard cross body onto Dakota and Iyo on the floor.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Iyo with an octopus on Bianca and Iyo with a sunset flip for a near fall. We see footage of Iyo hitting a springboard drop kick during the commercial break. Bianca with a back breaker and both are down. Kai tags in and kicks Bianca in the back to prevent the tag. Bianca with an elbow to Iyo and she floats over Dakota but Dakota grabs the hair to stop Bianca from making the tag. Candice kicks Iyo from the apron. Candice tags in and clotheslines Dakota and follows with forearms and punches. Iyo misses a splash on Candice and Candice with punches to Iyo and a running hip into the corner. Candice with a back senton off Dakota’s back to Iyo. Candice gets a near fall on Kai. Dakota runs into a boot.
Iyo grabs Candice and Dakota pulls Candice off the turnbuckles. Dakota with punches and Iyo tags in. Iyo chokes Candice in the corner and hits a hesitation double knee strike. Iyo gets a near fall. Dakota tags back in and chokes her in the corner. Dakota with a running boot in the corner for a near fall. Candice blocks a suplex and gets a near fall with an inside cradle. Candice with a kick and Bianca and Iyo tag in. Bianca with clotheslines and a drop kick. Bianca with a tilt-a-whirl gutbuster to Dakota and a back body drop to Iyo.
Bianca with punches on the corner and a back heel kick to Iyo. Candice tags in and Bianca flips over Iyo. Bianca gets Iyo up and Candice with a missile drop kick and Bianca with a brainbuster for a near fall. Dakota with a scorpion kick to Bianca. Dakota sends Bianca to the apron on a victory roll and Dakota with a Yakuza kick to knock Bianca off the apron. Candice with a Codebreaker to Dakota.
Bayley goes under the ring for a kendo stick and Bianca stops her and sends Bayley over the announce table with a spear.
Iyo tags in Dakota and Iyo with an Air Raid Crash and then they hit a double wrist clutch suplex for the three count.
Winners: Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai
Backstage:
Matt Riddle is walking in the back and Cathy Kelley asks Matt about Seth’s comments earlier tonight. Matt says Seth can make any excuse he wants but he will kick Seth’s ass bad and win the US Title.
Matt walks and sees Ali holding his neck. He tells Ali he respects him for standing up to Seth. Riddle says he will give Ali a title match when he wins. Ali thanks Riddle.
Miz is down on the floor and he holds his knee. Miz says he slipped on a floor that was not properly cleaned and he cannot wrestle tonight. Miz says he needs a doctor or EMT and Riddle and Ali go.

Backstage:
We are back and The Judgment Day are in the back. Finn tells Dom that nice guys finish last.
Cora Jade shows up and she waves hello to Rhea. Finn asks Rhea if she has everything under control. Cora brings up her match at Halloween Havoc and since Roxanne picked Raquel Rodriguez to face her, she needs to pick and opponent for Roxanne. She is looking for someone ruthless and dominating so she wants Rhea to be her pick. Rhea wants to make sure she understands what Cora is asking her to do. She says she wouldn’t mind putting Roxanne down so she is in.
In the Arena:
The stockyard bell rings and John Bradshaw Layfield makes his way to the ring.
He says it takes a momentous occasion for the wrestling God to come back and he has an announcement that will shake the foundation of Raw.
John says he apologizes for doing this in Oklahoma. He says the great state is on the other side of the Red River. You don’t have the common sense to leave. You did leave a few weeks ago when Texas put up a half a hundred on the Boomer Idiots. You are going to the SEC? How about the MAC. That is a little more your speed.
While I would love to stand here and bash Oklahoma because I do despise this state and every one of you.
Rey Mysterio has left Raw. Dominik has finally figured out what we knew decades ago. That deadbeat dad is one of the worst human beings. He wears a mask because he is ashamed of himself. That void has created the greatest thing since the Bambino came to the Bronx. He tells everyone to get up and welcome the greatest addition to Raw… Baron Corbin.
JBL says to look at this man. He is three times the size of Rey. The dominance starts tonight. He asks for competition and what he got was a former World Champion and Money in the Bank holder. Dolph Ziggler stole the show, but he has been stealing money. He would have never made the cut in the Attitude Era. While Hornswoggle would enjoy the competition, the only way the people in the back would get to be part of the show is with a ticket. This is the start of the Era of the Future Wrestling God.
Dolph Ziggler makes his way to the ring as we go to commercial.
Dolph Ziggler vs. Baron Corbin
Corbin sends Ziggler into the corner but Ziggler with a back elbow. Corbin sends Ziggler to the floor. Corbin sends Ziggler back into the ring. Corbin with a boot to Ziggler. Corbin with a punch to Ziggler in the face and midsection. Corbin chokes Ziggler. Ziggler with punches but Corbin with a back elbow for a near fall. Corbin misses a splash into the corner and Ziggler with punches. Corbin tosses Ziggler to the mat but Ziggler lands on his feet. Ziggler with a DDT for a near fall.
Ziggler with kicks in the corner and punches. Ziggler runs Corbin’s face across the top rope. Corbin with a reverse suplex. Corbin with a wacky slide and clothesline. Corbin sends Ziggler into the ring steps.

We are back and Corbin punches Ziggler. Corbin argues with the referee and then he punches Ziggler some more. Ziggler with punches and Corbin goes to the floor when Ziggler moves. Ziggler with forearms and a front face lock. Ziggler with flying clotheslines and he leaps into the corner and punches Corbin. Ziggler with a neck breaker and elbow drop for a near fall. Corbin with a fallaway slam for a near fall.
Ziggler escapes End of Days and responds with a Fameasser for a near fall. Corbin with a punch and Ziggler punches back. They go back and forth with forearms and Ziggler with a head butt. Corbin pushes Ziggler away from a Zig Zag attempt and hits Deep Six for a near fall. Corbin puts Ziggler on the turnbuckles but Ziggler with punches. Ziggler comes off the turnbuckles and Ziggler escapes a choke slam attempt and hits a drop kick followed by a Zig Zag for a near fall. Ziggler sets for a super kick but Corbin blocks it and hits End of Days for the three count.

Backstage:
Miz is in the medical office and he does not want the doctor to touch his leg. He tells him to give him the surgery.
Byron Saxton ambushes Miz to see how he is doing. Byron says he was told that Miz poured the water on the floor and put up the sign. Miz asks Byron if he thinks he made this all up to get out of the match. Miz says he is very very injured. They would say he staged this whole thing. Miz says he has a huge lawsuit on his hands.
Someone screams that Dexter Lumis is here and Miz gets on the table and his leg is fine. We see that it was Johnny Gargano who tricked Miz. Miz says his DNA allows him to heal up faster than normal humans. He says Lumis will be the one injured tonight.

Backstage:
We are back and MVP says he is not here to disparage Braun Strowman. He is here to celebrate Braun Strowman. He is a former Universal Champion. The mention of his name brings fear into ordinary men. The man standing to his right is very far from ordinary. He is the personification of the word extraordinary. They are going to Smackdown and Omos is going to look down at Braun and see if the Monster of Monsters understand that the Nigerian giant fears no man. Monsters aren’t real, but giants are.

AJ Styles is in the back with Gallows and Anderson. Cameron Grimes shows up and he says he could use some help and he asks if they can be his partners against the Schism. Luke asks AJ if Cameron has the money. They are cash only and if he wants partners they are his man. AJ says they haven’t changed one bit.

AJ Styles vs. Dominik Mysterio
Dominik misses a punch and AJ with a chop. AJ with punches and he sends Dominik into the turnbuckles. AJ with punches and chops. AJ with a back breaker and Dominik rolls around the ring in pain. AJ with a chop and a suplex. AJ with a chop. AJ with a Pele Kick. AJ sends Dominik into the turnbuckles and then he punches Dominik in the corner. Dominik goes to the floor and collapses.
AJ follows Dominik to the floor and AJ sends Dominik into the ringside barrier. AJ sends Dominik back into the ring and Rhea walks up to AJ and waves at him. Rhea tells AJ to hit him. Dominik with a springboard cross body onto AJ on the floor. Dominik with punches to AJ. Dominik chokes AJ in the ropes and then kicks him.
AJ with an elbow and forearms. AJ sends Dominik to the apron and Dominik drops AJ on the apron and then Dominik pays tribute to Eddie with a slingshot senton for a near fall. AJ with a kick and back fist followed by a clothesline. AJ with a slingshot forearm to Dominik and then he sends Dominik over the reconstructed ringside barrier.

We are back and Dominik begs for mercy and AJ kicks Dominik in the head. AJ sends Dominik into the turnbuckles. AJ with a slam and he goes to the turnbuckles but Dominik stops him and punches AJ. Dominik sets for a superplex but AJ with punches and he knocks Dominik to the mat. Finn gets on the apron and distracts the referee while Rhea drops AJ on the turnbuckles. Dominik kicks AJ. Dominik with an Irish whip and clothesline in the corner for a near fall. Dominik with a suplex and he rolls over to hit a second one. Dominik rolls over and finishes the Three Amigos. Dominik gets a near fall. Dominik has some words for Karl and Luke.
AJ avoids a splash from Dominik and AJ with clotheslines and a sliding forearm. AJ with a pump handle gutbuster for a near fall. Dominik punches AJ from the turnbuckles. AJ blocks a tornado DDT and puts Dominik back on the turnbuckles. Dominik with a punch and a tornado DDT for a near fall. Dominik drop kicks AJ into the ropes and Dominik tries for the 619 but AJ moves and then he puts Dominik in the Calf Crusher. Dominik gets to the ropes and the referee forces AJ to release the hold.
Finn and Priest pull Dominik to the floor and then Karl and Luke come out to join AJ. AJ with a punch to Dominik and then the referee separates Luke, Karl, Damian, and Finn.
Rhea grabs AJ’s leg and Dominik with a rollup for the three count.

Backstage:
Miz is in the back and Johnny Gargano shows up. He says he wants to help out a fellow Clevelander and he wants to tell Miz the reason why Dexter has issues with him. Johnny tells Miz to tell the truth. Miz says he has been tormented and when he is done, he who shall not be named will be gone. Johnny tells Miz he warned him.

The Miz vs. Dexter Lumis
The Miz attacks Lumis in the aisle during his entrance and hits him many times with a steel chair. Miz with a Skull Crushing Finale on the chair. Miz backs away while the referees check on Lumis.
Backstage:
We go to Byron Saxton with Iyo Sky, Dakota Kai, and Bayley. He asks what is next.
Dakota says they beat the Raw Women’s Champion and Candice LeRae. Bayley says they are sick of being asked what is next without looking at what is going on now. Bayley asks where is Alexa and Bayley says they got rid of her. Dakota says that Asuka is gone. Bayley says that Raquel and Shotzi don’t have a chance on Friday night. Bayley says she is over what happened at Extreme Rules. Bayley says she will show Bianca next week what happens when she is in control.
— Next week, Bayley faces Bianca for the Raw Women’s Championship.

Backstage:
We are back and Miz walks in the back and Gargano tells Mike that was a bad move. Gargano tells Miz to give Dexter what he promised. Miz says that Dexter is not getting a contract. Gargano says what is the worst that could happen if he tells the truth. Gargano says if Miz doesn’t come clean, he says he will blow the whistle on Miz. Miz walks away.
In the Arena:
Elias is in the ring with many guitars and a keyboard.
Elias says it feels great to be back. As you may or may not know, his younger brother’s career was tragically cut short. That is why he is here. The show must go on. Elias says he has a question for everyone… Who wants to walk with Elias. He says he would usually play something on the guitar but he wants to do something special for Oklahoma City and he wanted to play it on the keyboard. Elias says he gets nervous playing this song.
Matt Riddle’s music interrupts and he has bongos with him as he makes his way to the ring.
Elias says it is great to see Matt and he interrupts him on his first night back. Riddle says he is not here to interrupt Elias. He says he is a huge fan and he says that Elias rocks. Riddle says he loved getting Zeked up. He brought his bongos and he asks Elias to hit his bong. Elias says it is not his thing. Riddle says there is one truth. WWE means walk with Elias.
Elias says he appreciates his fans and he knows that Matt has a big match next so he tells Matt to take a front row seat to listen to this song. Riddle asks if they could play together one day. Elias says they will play together one day and Riddle is happy.
Elias is finally playing his piano, but after few seconds he’s interrupted again, this time by Seth Rollins’ music.

Seth Rollins vs. Matt Riddle for the United States Championship
Riddle with a triangle but Rollins gets to the ropes and Rollins goes to the floor. Rollins has some words for Elias, who is for some reason at ringside. Rollins gets back in the ring and goes back to the floor. Riddle gets on the turnbuckles and tells Rollins to get back in the ring. Riddle with kicks and punches and Rollins rolls to the floor. Riddle with a forearm to Rollins and he sends Rollins back into the ring. Riddle with a delayed gutwrench suplex. Rollins with a punch to the throat and a knee drop. Rollins with kicks to Riddle. Rollins with a hard Irish whip.
Riddle with forearms and Rollins fires back. They go back and forth with punches. Rollins with a back heel kick and suplex. Rollins with chops and he rakes the eyes. Rollins is sent to the floor and Riddle sets for a twisting Asai Moonsault but Rollins moves. Rollins pushes Elias and Elias with a jumping knee to Rollins and the referee somehow missed it.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Rollins with a thrust kick and a super kick for a near fall. Rollins discusses counting with the referee. We see footage of Rollins hitting a double stomp from the turnbuckles. Rollins with Kawada kicks. Rollins misses a kick and Riddle with a Pele Kick. Riddle with a series of forearms in the corner. Rollins goes for a rolling elbow but Riddle counters with an exploder. Rollins gets his knees up on a back senton from Riddle. Riddle goes up top and hits a Floating Bro for a near fall. Rollins counters a power bomb and goes for a pedigree but Riddle counters with a back body drop. Riddle with a jumping knee and he sets for Bro Derek and hits it for a near fall.
Riddle pulls Rollins to the corner and Riddle goes up top. Rollins with a forearm to the back and Rollins with forearms to the back and he sets for a reverse superplex and hits it. Rollins with a reverse Emerald Flowsion for a near fall. Rollins goes up top and Riddle catches Rollins in a triangle. Rollins with a one arm power bomb but Riddle holds on to the triangle. Rollins gets Riddle up again and sends Riddle into the turnbuckles but Riddle holds on to the triangle. Rollins with a sit out power bomb for a near fall. Riddle reapplies the triangle and Rollins gets his foot on the ropes.
Rollins rolls to the apron and then goes to the floor. Rollins wants Elias to hit him to get him disqualified. Rollins with a super kick to Elias. Riddle with a kick from the apron. Riddle with a power slam and then he sends Rollins into the ropes for the IEDDT. Riddle looks around and twists to the mat to pound it before he tries for the RKO. Rollins pushes Riddle into Elias, who goes into the ring for no logical reason. Riddle and Elias collide. Rollins with Black Out for the three count.
Winner: Seth Rollins
After the match, Rollins’ music hits but Elias is coming to. Rollins immediately puts him back down with a Stomp. Rollins raises the title in the air as fans begin singing his theme. We go to replays.
Rollins places the title belt under Riddle’s face and goes for a Stomp but Mustafa Ali interrupts him with a tackle. Ali mounts Rollins with punches, then knocks him to the floor. Ali with a suicide dive to send Rollins over the announce table. Ali runs and leaps over the table again, then sens Rollins into the crowd. Rollins retreats and Ali tries to grab him but he gets away. Ali stands on top of the announce table and yells out about being Rollins’ problem now. Rollins raises the WWE United States Title from the crowd as Ali stares him down. They yell some trash talk to each other as RAW goes off the air.
