WWE Making Major Changes To Premium Live Events In 2023

WWE Making Major Changes To Premium Live Events In 2023 – There are even more changes expected in WWE and you will see them in the next calendar year.

Bryan Alvarez reported today that WWE has officially scrapped the Day 1 pay-per-view. That was first reported earlier today by Brandon Thurston at Wrestlenomics.com.

Alvarez also noted that there will likely be more international shows and likely less gimmick shows. If that is the case, then we will see less shows such as Extreme Rules or Hell in a Cell. The company has received criticism from fans and critics who feel that a match like Hell in a Cell should be protected instead of being used because it’s that time of the year. The same would apply to a show like TLC or Extreme Rules.

No other details are available right now but this is the latest change in the post-Vince McMahon era. Several names have been brought back in the last couple of months and there have been several changes made on the weekly shows. It looks like 2023 could see additional big changes to the product.
