This year’s AEW All Out pay-per-view kicked off with the Casino Battle Royale that featured Claudio Castagnoli vs. Wheeler Yuta vs. Penta El Zero Miedo vs. Rey Fénix vs. Rush vs. Andrade El Idolo vs. Dante Martin vs. the joker.
After Penta entered, a bunch of hooded people took out all of the competitors and someone climbed the ladder to grab the chip. That person was Stokely Hathaway.
The joker walked out to the ring dressed in black and a face mask, using The Rollin Stones’ Sympathy for the Devil as theme. He entered the ring and Stokely handed him the title. The joker teased revealing himself but he walked out to the back with Stokely and their faction. If you were watching, then you could probably make a good guess as to the identity of the joker.
As a result of winning the contest, this person has become the new #1 contender to the AEW World Heavyweight Title, which is currently held by Jon Moxley.
