Winner Take All Now A Unification Match – WWE has made an interesting change to the way they are advertising the Champion vs. Champion match between Universal Champion Roman Reigns and WWE Champion Brock Lesnar.
Earlier this week, WWE had been advertising the match as a Winner Take All match. Sometime within the last 24 hours, they have changed the verbiage and they are now pushing it as a Winner Take All Championship Unification match.
The previous wording made it sound as if one person would hold both titles after WrestleMania but the new wording makes it sound as if one belt will be fading away and there will only be one major men’s World Champion in WWE.
There have been more wrestlers crossing over into opposite brands in recent years and this past year it seems to be happening more frequently. Perhaps, this could be the start of the brands merging as one again or this is simply a way to get one major champion to appear on both shows.
