News And Notes On New "NXT LVL UP" Ring Announcer Kelly Kincaid

As noted earlier, WWE has signed Kelly Kincaid as the ring announcer for the brand new NXT LVL UP show. Kincaid is former ROH backstage correspondent and wrestler Quinn McKay, real-name: Kelly Verbil.

The 30-year old Kincaid from ROH is a former roller derby competitor who describes herself as “5 feet of concrete”. She started getting into the ring during Women’s Division Wednesday’s and eventually the women’s title tournament that was reviving the company’s women’s division. This took place over the summer of 2021 into the fall. She had a personal feud with the members of The Allure (Angelina Love & Mandy Leon) for months.

She faced Mandy Leon and defeated her in the first round of the tournament but would be bested by the eventual winner Rok-C in the quarter-finals. Kincaid has also had matches on the indie scene. There is no word on if Kincaid will transfer over to the ring at this point.

In 2021, Kelly Kincaid was named ROH Breakout Star of the Year.

ROH is currently on hiatus since the start of 2022 and is slated to be back in April.
