WWE RAW Results (1/17) Tulsa, OK – We are live from the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, as Becky Lynch makes her way to the ring to start the show. We see what happened last week during the number one contender match to determine Becky’s opponent at the Royal Rumble.
Becky says we are less than two weeks away from the Royal Rumble and the Raw women’s division has never been hotter and that is because of me. It is so hot in fact that we have stars from generations past coming back. We have Lita, Mickie James, the Bellas. All hoping that they can win the Royal Rumble to face me at Wrestlemania. I make stars out of people. Look no further than Doudrop. I have given her a taste of the big time at one of the biggest shows of the year.
You weren’t clamoring for her to have a title match. I gave her a title match. That is what I do. I make people better and then I beat them. I will admit that I admire her tenacity. She came from the rolling hills of Scotland and she made a name for herself. No, someone made a name for her. A Doudrop will never be a champion as long as she runs things.
Doudrop’s music plays and she makes her way to the ring.
Doudrop tells Becky that she didn’t give her anything. Doudrop says she got this match. If it was your plan to face me instead of Bianca, you made a big mistake. She tells Becky to stay out of her way tonight.
Becky says she gave Doudrop her win last week and she will do the same this week.
Bianca Belair makes her way to the ring.
Bianca says you cannot spell greatest without EST. Bianca says she is the EST of WWE. Bianca says Doudrop is facing Becky because Ms. Big Time was so scared of me that she had to interfere. You are just buying time. I am officially entering the Royal Rumble match. It is going to be every woman for themselves. If I have to eliminate every woman, I will. Then I will main event Wrestlemania . . . AGAIN. I will choose whichever champion I want and it might be one of you two.
Not to feel left out, Liv Morgan makes her way to the ring.
Liv says that she is also in the Royal Rumble Match. In two weeks, I will be the one winning it. For that to happen, that means you will be one of the 29 women I am outlasting on my way to Wrestlemania.
Doudrop tells them that they are boring and she wants the referee to start the match.
The referee has to separate all four women.
We go to commercial.
— We are back and Chad Gable is in the back finalizing his speech with Otis in their caps and gowns.
Becky Lynch and Doudrop vs. Liv Morgan and Bianca Belair
Bianca and Doudrop start things off and Doudrop with an Irish whip and she avoids Doudrop in the corner. Doudrop blocks a suplex but Bianca lands on her feet when Doudrop goes for a suplex. Bianca with a forearm but Doudrop with a shoulder tackle. Becky makes the tag and she has some words with Doudrop. Bianca with a drop kick and she tags Liv into the mat. Liv with a forearm to Doudrop and a drop kick to Becky followed by a knee into the corner. Becky with an Irish whip and Liv with a back elbow and missile drop kick. Liv with a springboard facebuster for a near fall. Bianca tries to get Doudrop up for KOD but cannot get her up. Doudrop splashes Bianca in the corner.
Liv moves and Doudrop goes to the floor. Becky uses the ropes on a rollup and gets a near fall. Liv with a froearm. Becky with a uranage and Doudrop breaks up the cover. Doudrop tags herself in and hits a splash on Liv for the three count.
Winners: Doudrop and Becky Lynch
After the match, Doudrop gives Becky a Banzai Drop.
Backstage:
Reggie and Dana Brooke are in the back and he is asking Edge and Beth Phoenix for advice against Omos. Edge says that he has seen Reggie do things he has never seen before. Reggie asks Edge if he thinks he has a chance. Edge laughs and seays no. Beth tells Dana that she is so proud of her work and that she has a title.
Damian Priest is in the hall and Edge and Beth stop to talk to him. Priest says he has a grateful side and then there are times when he gets edgy. Priest asks Edge for some advice in the Royal Rumble match. Edge tells Priest he needs the cardio and keep doing what he does.
Beth is handed a note and it is from Maryse and she wants to meet Beth one on one in the ring. Edge says he knows what they are doing and he is going to the ring with her.
Kevin Owens shows up and says he is looking forward to his match against Damian later tonight. Priest says Owens means it because he is such an honest guy. Owens says he is looking forward to a clean, technical match. Kevin says the evil side shouldn’t come out. He is looking forward to a clean match. Owens says he has an announcement to make so he will see him later.
Kevin Owens makes his way to the ring as we go to commercial.
In the Arena:
We are back and Kevin welcomes everyone to the Kevin Owens Show. Owens says he would say he was happy to be here but he says that would be a lie because Tulsa is brutal. He says that is the truth. He has a special guest. A man that Kevin calls his best friend. After he beats Roman Reigns at the Royal Rumble, he is someone he will call Universal Champion. Owens brings out Seth Rollins.
Kevin thanks Seth for accepting his invitation because it means a lot. Kevin says he admires Seth. From the suits because he says that Seth that looks mahvelous, which is French for marvelous. He says Seth has guts. Do you know how much it takes to go into the lion’s den with Roman Reigns and confront him. You are the guy who set that table. That was special.
Seth says Kevin hit the nail on the head. Friday night, it got a little testy with him and the Tribal Chief. Roman is scared. He is taking the low road taking shots at his family and sending his cousins after him. They couldn’t get the job done. Roman is playing checkers while Seth is playing chess. It will be like taking candy from a baby. When I take that title, I am going to turn that belt from blue to red to bring it to Raw.
Kevin asks if Seth is staying on Raw when he wins. He says we won’t need Brock Lesnar or Bobby Lashley because they would have the best champion.
Seth says maybe he gets rid of Bobby Lashley tonight.
Kevin says he has an announcement to make. He says it is an announcement that will change the face of the industry. Kevin says he is officially in the Royal Rumble. Kevin says once he wins and when Seth wins at the Royal Rumble, they get to give the WWE Universe the match they deserve, the biggest Wrestlemania main event of all time. Seth Rollins versus Kevin Owens.
Seth says he likes where Kevin’s head is at and he can dig that.
Damian Priest’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring.
Seth complains about Damian coming out and Damian tells them to shut up. Damian calls them delusional idiots. Priest says no one believes that Seth will beat Roman. You are a liar because you are not going to win the Royal Rumble. Don’t wake the Damian up.
Priest informs Owens that their match is next… After a commercial.
Damian Priest vs. Kevin Owens
They lock up and Owens with a waist lock. Priest with a wrist lock. Owens with a side head lock. Owens with a shoulder tackle but Priest stays on his feet. Priest takes Owens down with a shoulder tackle. Priest is sent to the apron. Owens with an elbow and Priest with a kick from the apron. Owens with a drop kick when Priest tries to get back into the ring. Owens with kicks and a back senton. Owens with a chop and kick followed by more chops.
Priest has that look in his eyes and Owens asks why is he doing that. Priest with a spinning heel kick. Priest goes for the elbow in the corner but Owens goes to the floor to regroup. Priest goes to the floor and comes off the ring steps and Owens with a super kick. Owens with a frog splash onto Priest on the floor.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Priest with punches and kicks. Priest with a rolling elbow and a flapjack. Priest with an elbow in the corner and he goes for Broken Arrow but Owens with a forearm. Priest with a clothesline and Broken Arrow for a near fall. Priest with a forearm and he puts Owens on the turnbuckles. Priest with a punch and Priest climbs the turnbuckles. Owens with a punch but Priest sets for a superplex but Owens blocks it and he head butts Priest to the mat. Owens with a swanton for a near fall. Owens with a kick and he tries for a stunner but Priest escapes. Owens avoids Reckoning and Owens hits a pop up power bomb for a near fall.
Priest with a round kick and South of Heaven for a near fall. Owens goes down on an Irish whip with an apparent groin or hamstring injury. The referee calls for a trainer to check on Owens. Owens with a kick and stunner for the three count.
Winner: Kevin Owens
— We take a look at how Alpha Academy won the tag titles. Their graduation is next, after a commercial.
— We are back with a look back at the end of the team of Rhea and Nikki.
Backstage:
Nikki is in the back with Sarah Schreiber to talk about her match with Rhea Ripley. Nikki says she stands on her own and she couldn’t feel any better. Rhea should be mortified because she is not the friend she thought she was. Sarah brings up that Nikki attacked Rhea and Nikki says Rhea is the one who broke up the team and flushed the team down the drain. Rhea is the villain. This is the closest that people of Tulsa will be to a super hero. Rhea will find out that she needs a super hero, whether she likes it or not.
In the Arena:
We return to the ring for the Graduation Ceremony.
Chad says he does not have any colleagues because he is an Olympian with a Master’s Degree, earning a 4.0 GPA. Chad says the odds of someone in Oklahoma having a Master’s Degree or a high school diploma are slim to none. Tonight is about celebrating an institution and an individual. He says he could talk about his accomplishments and he says that his list is long. Tonight is not about him. It is about a man who overcame the odds. A tree trunk of a human being and a great pupil in the classroom.
Last week, Otis applied the master’s lesson and he passed the final exam. He beat RK-Bro and they became tag champions. Chad says it is pleasure to present to you Otis, with the highest graduating honors and a diploma.
Otis says to expect carnage if you mess with their championships or the Alpha Academy.
Riddle comes out dressed like the Statue of Liberty but without the crown and torch.
Riddle does some comedy and says he had to come out and give a very special speech, which he wrote at the breakfast buffet this morning. Riddle says it felt like just last week when he and Randy were champions, just a couple of young, wild stallions running free, but today is graduation day and their lives will change forever. He goes on but Gable yells at him, asking why he’s here and what he’s talking about. Gable knocks Riddle and the people of Oklahoma, and tells Riddle to be on his way. Riddle says he actually came out to say how proud he is of Alpha Academy, and their giant necks. Gable assumes Riddle is here for a rematch but he’s not even sure Riddle can define the word. Riddle struggles to define the word and tries some more comedy.
Riddle finally says a rematch sounds like a pretty sick idea. Gable says it’s no wonder Orton left Riddle high & dry. Gable laughs at Riddle for Orton leaving him and not being here tonight. Gable says Riddle has to prove he’s worthy for a rematch in an Academic Challenge. Gable says this will be a series of tests between the two teams, to prove which is superior mentally. Gable says they’ve already proved who is physically superior. Riddle goes on running his mouth and rambling. Otis has heard enough, and he’s ready to fight. He takes off his robe and slowly walks up the ramp, trash talking Riddle. Orton hits the ring out of nowhere and drops Gable with the RKO. Otis turns back to go to the ring but Riddle runs down to ringside and attacks him for a pop. Riddle hits the ring and helps Orton put on the cap & gown Otis previously had on. Orton says they accept the challenge while Otis is tending to Gable at ringside. We go to replays as Alpha Academy looks on from the stage and RK-Bro poses in the corners.
— We take a look at Finn Balor and Austin Theory from last month.
Backstage:
Vince is in his office and Austin Theory enters and he thanks Vince for the rematch . Austin asks what Vince is watching and Vince reminds Austin that he lost. Austin reminds Vince that he beat up Balor after the match and that is a half victory. Vince tells Austin to beat Finn and beat him up. If you don’t, I will beat you up. He says he will break every big and small bone he can. Then he will go for the head and the face. When they are done, there will be nothing left but blood and snot. Vince says he will take a selfie and send it to Austin’s mom.
— We are back wtih the video tribute to Martin Luther King.
Finn Balor vs. Austin Theory
They lock up and Theory with a kick on the break but Balor with a kick and side head lock. Theory with a back elbow. Theory sends Balor into the apron and ringside barrier. Balor with slingblade on the floor and we go to commercial.
We are back and Balor with a double stomp. Balor with a chop and Irish whip followed by an elevated elbow drop for a near fall. Balor kicks Theory in the ribs and Theory drops Balor on the top rope. Balor with slingblade but Theory with a clothesline and hot shot. Balor sets for ATL but Balor escapes and gets a near fall with a rollup. Balor with a kick on the apron. Balor goes up top and misses Coup de Grace. Theory with a rolling drop kick to the back of the head. Theory with ATL for the three count.
Winner: Austin Theory
After the match, Theory takes a selfie and then he attacks Balor and hits another ATL.
— Rhea is ambushed by Sarah and asks about Nikki’s comments. Rhea says she didn’t want to end their friendship. What kind of hero attacks their friend. If Nikki thinks Rhea is a villain, she is delirious. She is going to show Nikki who she is. Back to commercial.
Rhea Ripley vs. Nikki A.S.H.
Before the match starts, Zelina Vega and Carmella make their way to the stage. Carmella says that they are here to announce that everything they said about Nikki came true. Zelina says she is correct by default. Not only is she Rhea’s queen, but your fairy godmother. You wouldn’t be rid of her if they didn’t give her that push. Carmella says they told Rhea before to get rid of Nikki. Zelina says that Rhea looks like nothing more than a low class loser. Zelina says that Rhea doesn’t have the guts to be champion on her own.
Nikki attacks Rhea from behind before the bell rings. Rhea pushes Nikki aside and Nikki sends Rhea to the floor and kicks Rhea off the apron. Nikki sends Rhea into the ring steps.
— We see what happened last week between Reggie and Omos.
— Dana is in the back with Reggie to discuss strategy. We see the 24/7 goofballs watching Dana’s pep talk for Reggie from seats while eating popcorn. Reggie has some doubt and Dana tells Reggie he is the most capable man she knows. She tells Reggie to stay away from him.
— Omos makes his way to the ring as we go to commercial.
Reggie vs. Omos
Omos screams and freaks out Reggie. The 24/7 Chase Group force Dana into the ring and Omos stops Tozawa and Truth.
The match starts and Reggie comes off the turnbuckels and Omos catches Reggie and hits the choke slam. Omos stands on Reggie for the three count.
Winner: Omos
— We take a look back at last week when Maryse walked away while Miz was putting her over. Maryse makes her way to the ring as we go to commercial.
In the Arena:
Maryse says hello to Tulsa. She says her husband could not be here tonight. He has a very big mouth and likes to agree to things without talking to her first. She says she will have to clean up his mess. She wants to talk to Beth and she asks Beth to come out so they can talk woman to woman, mother to mother.
Beth Phoenix comes out but she is not alone.
Maryse says there are not many ways to say this, but the match at Royal Rumble has to be cancelled.
Beth wants to hear her excuse.
Maryse says they don’t want it and neither do the fans. Maryse asks for some help with this heartfelt moment and then she throws out some reallys. She says they come from the same generation and they have been through the wars together. Maryse mentions the 2 minute matches. Maryse says they made the women’s division what it is today. She says that women main evented Wrestlemania because of their work. If anything, she says that they should be on the same team. They shouldn’t be fighting. They should be a unit. They should be best friends. We should hang out and go on play dates. We should go out and get coffee after this.
Beth tells Maryse to shut up. Beth says she is not buying any of this. She says this means that Maryse has taken acting lessons from her husband. Beth says their match at the Royal Rumble is not off. She is not missing the opportunity to tag with her husband for the first time. She is not missing the chance to Glam Slam your ass through that canvas.

Beth enters the ring and Edge punches Miz when he tries to attack Edge. Maryse hits Beth from behind with her purse. Edge gets into the ring to check on Beth and Maryse leaves the ring. Maryse shows that there was a brick in her purse.
Backstage:
The Street Profits are in the back and Ford says that they are going to get the win in Tulsa. Dawkins says this will be a great preparation for the Royal Rumble. Ford says they are going to throw bodies. Dawkins asks if Ford is going to eliminate him. The Mysterios show up and Rey says they are excited to team with the Street Profits. Rey says the Mysterios are going to throw out 29 other people. Dominik says they are going to do that and restore the name Mysterio.
Back to commercial.
The Mysterios And Street Profits vs.Apollo Crews, Robert Roode, Dolph Ziggler, and Commander Azeez
Dominik and Ziggler start things off and Ziggler with a kick but Dominik with a head scissors. Ziggler with a clothesline and Roode tags in. Dominik escapes a suplex and tags in Rey who hits an assisted head scissors. Rey with a head scisosrs take down and he is sent to the apron by Roode. Rey with a kick and he goes for a head scissors off the turnbuckles but Roode blocks it and then both men go over the top rope. Ziggler throws Dominik over the top rope.
We have a stand off on the floor as we go to commercial.
We are back and Roode and Ziggler with a double back elbow to Rey and then they knock Dawkins and Ford off the turnbuckles. Crews tags in and hits a standing moonsault for a near fall. Rey with a tornado DDT to Crews and both men are down. Dawkins tags in and hits a clothesline and then knocks Ziggler off the apron. Dawkins with a clothesline to Crews and exploders to Roode and ZIggler. Dawkins with a twisting splash into the corner followed by Silencer. Ford with a drop kick to Azeez. Rey and Dominik with 619s to Dolph and Roode. Azeez catches Dominik off the turnbuckles but Rey drop kicks Azeez to the floor. Dawkins with Anointment and then Ford tags in and hits the Seven Star Frog Splash for the three count.
Winners: The Mysterios And Street Profits
After the match, the winners celebrate in the ring and then the Mysterios throw the Street Profits to the floor. Rey does the same to Dominik. They all laugh.
— We go to Bobby Lashley’s appearance on After the Bell. Bobby said that looking into Brock’s eyes, he does not have a soul. He sees this as another paycheck and that is what excites Bobby. He won’t bend, break, or crumble. Brock knows how to fight and this is a challenge that he welcomes.
— We take a look at Brock Lesnar ad Bobby Lashley ahead of their match at the Royal Rumble.
— We take a look back at last week when Alexa Bliss saw her therapist.

Backstage:
We are back and Miz and Maryse are leaving but they are ambushed by Kevin Patrick to ask about the attack. Miz says it took one shot to take care of Beth Phoenix. Maryse stops Miz from saying a nasty word because the kids are watching. Miz says that he knows next week is Maryse’s birthday so he will be throwing an amazing birthday party for Maryse.
Backstage:
We are back with the next Alexa Bliss Session and there is no talking for a little while. The doctor welcomes her back and he says there are less breakable items. The doctor says he will continue to treat her but will not tolerate that behavior again. He says Alexa will be well on the road to recovery and Alexa says neato. We go to word association and he asks her about Trust and Alexa says Lilly. He says a number of words and Alexa says Lilly until he says Imagainary. Alexa stands up and the doctor leaves.
We are back and next week we will have the Alpha Academy Academic Challenge, the Maryse birthday celebration, and a weigh in for Lashley and Lesnar.
Bobby Lashley vs. Seth Rollins
Lashley bounces while Rollins stands in the center of the ring and sparkles. Rollins with a side head lock. Lashley with a shoulder tackle. Rollins with a waist lock and Lashley holds on to the ropes on an O’Connor Roll. Rollins with slingblade and then he sets for a Pedigree but Lashley with a back body drop. Rollins avoids the full nelson and then Lashley goes to the floor. Rollins with a suicide dive and then he returns to the ring for another one and Lashley catches Rollins and hits an overhead bellly-to-belly suplex on the floor.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Rollins wrings the leg into the ring post a few times. Rollins puts Lashley’s leg in the ropes and hits a drop kick to the leg. Rollins with an Indian Death Lock on Lashley. Rollins with a dragon screw leg whip into a single leg crab. Rollins with a boot to the leg and he returns to the half crab. Rollins misses Black Out and Lashley with a Flatliner. Lashley with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex and a second one. Lashley with a shoulder in the corner and a neck breaker. Lashley with a delayed suplex but Rollins escapes. Lashley with a Dominator for a near fall.
Lashley sets for a spear but Rollins with a knee and rolling elbow. Lashley gets Rollins up but Rollins escapes and sends Lashley into the turnbuckles. Rollins with a Pedigree for a near fall. Rollins goes up top and Lashley stops Rollins and sets for a super choke slam but Rollins with an elbow. Lashley with a head and arm superplex.
Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander attack Lashley and the referee calls for the bell.
Winner by DQ: Bobby Lashley
After the bell, Lashley tries to fight off Benjamin and Alexander but they double team him and send him into the ring post. They talk trash in Lashley’s face, then send him back into the ring post a few times. Rollins watches from ringside as Lashley blocks a double suplex on the floor, then launches his former teammates with a double suplex of his own on the floor. Lashley grabs Alexander and drives him face-first into the ring post. Lashley stalks Benjamin now and puts him through the barrier with a big Spear for a pop from the crowd.
Rollins watches from the turnbuckles now, amazed at what he’s seeing Lashley do to Benjamin and Alexander. SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos suddenly hop the barrier from the crowd, rushing the ring to wait on Rollins. Rollins turns around to see The Usos but they flatten him with a double superkick. The Usos back up the ramp with their fingers in the air as their music hits. Rollins recovers on the mat in the ring while Lashley looks on from ringside. RAW goes off the air with The Usos standing tall on the ramp, telling Rollins they will see him at The Rumble.
