Viewership And Key Demo Ratings For 1/28 WWE SmackDown And AEW Rampage

Friday’s live Royal Rumble go-home edition of WWE SmackDown drew an average of 2.217 million viewers, down 1.68% from the previous week.

Friday’s SmackDown drew a 0.56 rating in the key 18-49 demographic, down 12.50% from the previous week. This week’s 0.56 key demo rating represents 729,000 18-49 viewers.

SmackDown had the following line-up advertised ahead of time – the final Royal Rumble build, Sonya Deville vs. Naomi, Madcap Moss and Happy Baron Corbin vs. Kofi Kingston and Big E, Ridge Holland and Sheamus vs. Cesaro and Ricochet, and Seth Rollins delivering a personal message to WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, which was the show-closing segment.

The Beach Break edition of AEW Rampage drew an average of 601,000 viewers, up 1.18% from the previous week. Rampage drew a 0.25 rating in the 18-49 key demographic.

Friday’s special edition of Rampage aired at 10pm on TNT, previously taped from the Wolstein Center in Cleveland, OH. The show featured a full card advertised ahead of time with spoilers available for the following line-up – Jon Moxley vs. Anthony Bowens, AAA World Tag Team Champions FTR vs. Brock Anderson and Lee Johnson, AEW TBS Champion Jade Cargill defending against Julia Hart, and AEW World Tag Team Champions Jurassic Express defending against Private Party in the main event.
