– Friday’s WWE SmackDown saw the ratings decline. The show averaged 2.174 million viewers on FOX, which is down from 2.271 million two weeks ago, according to Brandon Thurston of WrestleNomics.
In the all-important 18-49 demographic, the show did a 0.56 rating, down from the 0.58 rating a week ago. Last week’s show was the highest total viewership since December 17th and the highest key demo rating since October 22nd.
While the key demo was down for this week, it was still better than what the show had done in December. Here’s the breakdown in each demo for the show compared to last week:
Viewers 18-34 – 0.35 – a week ago: 0.37
Viewers 18-49 – 0.56 – a week ago: 0.58
Viewers 25-54 – 0.73 – a week ago: 0.77
Female viewers 18-49 – 3.4 – a week ago: 3.4
Male viewers 18-49 – 5.6 – a week ago: 5.5
Viewers 50+ – 2.7 – a week ago: 2.7
– Viewership numbers for AEW Rampage also dropped in total viewership and the 18-49 demographic.
Rampage drew 526,000 viewers and a 0.20 rating in the 18-49 demographic on TNT at the 10pm ET time slot. Last week the show did 588,000 viewers and a 0.24 rating, which was the best viewership and key demo rating in its normal timeslot since October 29th.
Rampage ranked #15 in the top 150 shows on cable for the night, down from last week’s #7 ranking. Brandon Thurston of WrestleNomics reported the news.
