Miz TV:

Miz welcomes everyone to MizTV.  Miz says you are all wondering where Maryse is, and she would have been here, but she doesn’t go to Memphis.  On to business.  Last Monday, I had a confrontation with Edge and I rewatched it. I could not believe my eyes.  Edge complimented me.  Can you believe it?  I have known Edge for 15 years and this can’t be him.  Edge is a shell of his former self, or is he?

Miz brings out Edge.

Edge says he meant those complients last week and he still means them. Miz says that is so sweet.  Miz says that the Rated R Superstar has lost his Edge. Edge tells Miz that was a good pun.

Miz says that the old Edge would have speared him out of his $9,000 shoes.  This Edge can get around the ring but he sounds mentally weak. Edge asks Miz why would he pay $9,000 for those shoes and Edge says his shoes are much cooler.  Edge says don’t take his kindness for weakness.  You must have bigger issues.

Miz says he does not need Edge’s kindness or compliments now.  I needed them when I started in WWE in 2006.  When I was walking on egg shells and doing everything wrong.  I was not kicked out of the locker room for eating chicken. It was because I did not fit the mold.  Everyone was protecting their spot.  I was more famous than 90% of the locker room and I was treated like a peasant.  I don’t need your kindness.

Edge reminds Miz it was this arena where he told Miz he had “IT’ and that he would be fine.  Edge says Miz brushed him off.  I went through the same things 7 years before.  if someone pulled me aside, I would listen.  I did not walk into the locker room and think I am a bigger star.  I am not afraid of losing my spot.  I see it as an opportunity.  I don’t hold people down.  At the end of the day, you have to look at yourself in the mirror.  It will say the same thing it did in 2006, You’re an ass.

Miz calls Edge a hypocrite and he says he is vulnerable.  The year 2022 will be the Year of the MIz.  I will beat you at January 1 (sic).  Edge says if that is a challenge, you are on.  Edge says there is nothing standing between us but air and opportunity so why not do it tonight.

Miz tells Edge no.  It is not because I am scared or afraid… Edge punches MIz out of nowhere.
