On tonight’s WWE SmackDown episode, Edge challenged Seth Rollins to a Hell in a Cell Match, and WWE subsequently booked the bout for the Crown Jewel event on October 21.
“The Rated-R Superstar” threw down the gauntlet on this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown, setting the stage for a heated collision between the two rivals.
Rollins and Edge have been feuding since the road to WWE SummerSlam. The WWE Hall of Famer defeated “The Drip God” at the pay-per-view, but Rollins evened the score when he defeated Edge at the Super SmackDown in Madison Square Garden last month. Still, unsatisfied with the victory, Rollins went so far as to break into break into Edge’s house on the October 1 episode of SmackDown, prompting Edge to issue the Hell in a Cell challenge the following week.
