As noted, a massive number of extra draft picks were made during last night’s edition of RAW Talk, which saw two more women’s tag teams splitting up.
One of the picks was that Natalya would be on SmackDown, while her tag partner, or I suppose it’s now former tag partner Tamina, would be on RAW from now on.
If this comes as a surprise to you reading this, then spare a thought for Natalya and Tamina, who according to Dave Meltzer on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, had no idea they were being split up until it was announced by WWE.
While they may not have had the most inspiring run with the Women’s Tag Team Championship, they were at least a women’s tag team, something WWE is very short on following the draft.
It was also revealed that Tegan Nox would be moving to RAW, while Shotzi Blackheart remains on SmackDown.
That leaves WWE with one women’s tag team, and that’s Nikki A.S.H and Rhea Ripley, who are the champions. Maybe they’ll just be champions forever?
