
It was announced on social media on Wednesday, that three more NXT wrestlers will be getting a name change.
Anriel Howard will be known as Lash Legend. Sean Tan will be known as Dante Chen and Josh Dawkins will be known as Malik Blade.
On the NXT 2.0 revamp this week, six wrestlers made their debut under new names.
Brooks Jensen and Josh Briggs teamed up and lost to Imperium. Jensen signed last month and his real name is Ben Buchanan, the son of former WWE star Bull Buchanan.
Trick Williams, real name Matrick Belton, debuted as the friend of Carmelo Hayes. Williams gave a pep talk to Hayes and told him that he has been too humble up to this point. Williams and Hayes attacked Duke Hudson this week.
Tony D’Angelo, real name Joe Ariola, debuted with a mafia-like character, although it was not explicitly explained that he has connections.
Ivy Nile was introduced as the first female member of the Diamond Mine. Her real name is Emily Andzulis and she competed on NBC’s The Titan Games. She signed in January of 2020.
Bronson Rechsteiner, the son of former WWE star Rick Steiner, debutd as Bron Breakker. At one point over the weekend, his name was listed as Rex Steiner but plans changed. He defeated LA Knight in his first TV match.
Cal Bloom, the son of former WWE/AEW star Wayne Bloom, made his NXT debut as Von Wagner. He replaced Kyle O’Reilly in the Fatal 4-Way match for the NXT Championship.
