Shinsuke Nakamura Wins Intercontinental Championship On Smackdown

Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Apollo Crews to win the Intercontinental Championship on tonight’s SmackDown episode.

Halfway through the match, the referees sent Boogs and Commander Azeez to the back because of their attempts to interfere in the match.

Crews has held the title since winning it at WrestleMania. This is Nakamura’s second reign as the Intercontinental Champion. He is also a former 2-time NXT Champion and a SmackDown Tag Team Champion with Cesaro.
