Karrion Kross Makes WWE RAW Debut – NXT Champion Karrion Kross made his highly anticipated debut this week on WWE RAW, where he faced off against Jeff Hardy in a singles match. Despite the massive hype surrounding him, though, Kross suffered a shocking loss on his first official night as a WWE RAW Superstar. Meanwhile, Hardy came to the ring with his classic “No More Words” theme to generate some buzz in his favor.
In a surprisingly quick match, it looked as if Kross would pick up an easy win. Though Scarlett was not by his side, Kross took control early on, as he dropped Hardy with several nasty suplexes. Still, Hardy rallied and hit a massive Twist of Fate on Kross to gain some momentum. Though Kross dodged the Swanton Bomb, he was unable to capitalize.
“The Herald of Doomsday” couldn’t finish off Hardy with an elbow to the back of the head. After he backed Hardy into the corner and drilled him with some elbows, Kross was shocked after Hardy rolled him up and used the ropes to secure the three count.
After the match, an irate Kross said Hardy had just made a huge mistake, because eventually everyone falls and prays.
