WWE RAW Results (7/20) – Dallas, Texas – We are live from the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, as John Cena makes his way to the ring to start the show.

John comments on a fan’s sign in the front row who came to see John Cena. John says he misses you and he misses this. He says he loves the confusion and the chaos and he says everyone is loud. He says the biggest superstar in WWE is the WWE Universe and John says everyone knows what that means. He says we ain’t just loud tonight, we are deafening loud. Tonight is electric. John says tonight is a team effort. John says he will wear the Peacemaker outfit to the premiere of Suicide Squad and he is also here to explain what happened last night.

John says he ruined the celebration of Roman Reigns last night. Roman was angry, Paul was confused, and there are a lot of questions.

Who brought John back to the WWE? It was you guys. We can come back and cheer and boo together with people who love this. Who brought him back? It was you. It was Roman Reigns. What am I here for? The Universal Championship. When? In five weeks at SummerSlam. Where? In Las Vegas. Why? I could stand here and talk about the pageantry of SummerSlam and being in the main event in a packed event. He could talk about a record breaking 17th championship. He says it is because Roman is an asshole and needs to be knocked down a peg. This pathetic Roman Reigns experience has gone on long enough. Roman is an arrogant self absorbed gimmick who is not as over as he thinks he is.

John says if you are good, people will acknoweldge you. If you are great, they tell you. I am telling you that I will be at Smackdown and I can’t wait to see you there.

The music interrupts and out comes Riddle on his scooter. Jimmy Smith welcomes us to RAW now. He’s joined at ringside by Corey Graves and Byron Saxton. Riddle hits the ring and kicks his flip-flops off to pyro. Cena and Riddle have a “Bro! Bro?” exchange on the mic. This ends with Cena giving Riddle a fist bump, then making his exit from the ring. Riddle is all smiles as his music starts back up. Cena heads to the back and Riddle waits for his partners as we go to commercial.

Riddle and The Viking Raiders vs. AJ Styles, Omos and John Morrison

Riddle and Styles start things off and Styles with a shoulder tackle and Riddle wtih a kick to the chest and a back body drop. AJ tags in Morrison and he tosses his shirt at Riddle, but Riddle is too smart to catch it. Morrison with a single leg but Riddle with a take down. Morrison with a rollup and Riddle misses a kick. Morrison with a forearm and kick to the chest. Riddle with a knee and strikes but he misses a round kick. Riddle flips over Morrison and hits an exploder for a near fall.

Ivar tags in and so does Erik. Iver sends Morrison into a knee from Erik. Erik with more knees and a shoulder in the corner. Iver tags in and he slams Morrison. Erik slams Ivar onto Morrison. Ivar gets a near fall. Riddle tags in and so does AJ. Riddle kicks AJ but Morrison kicks Riddle. Morrison sends Ivar and Erik to the floor. Morrison goes for a rana and Erik blocks it and they sandwich Morrison. Omos tosses AJ onto Riddle, Erik, and Ivar.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Omos sends Riddle to the mat and pulls him into the center of the ring. Omos stomps on the chest. Omos with an Irish whip and elbow into the corner. AJ tags in and he applies a front face lock to keep Riddle from making the tag. AJ with a suplex and he gets a near fall. Morrison tags in and he punches Riddle and follows with kicks. Riddle blocks a kick and Riddle with a kick to the chest. Morrison with a chin lock but Riddle gets to his feet and he hits a bicycle kick. AJ tags in and goes for a belly-to-back suplex but Riddle lands on his feet and he tags in Erik. AJ with a series of strikes and Erik with strikes of his own. Erik with an Irish whip and AJ floats over but Erik does not charge into the corner.

Erik with a running drop kick into the corner. Erik with a judo throw and knee but AJ with a Pele Kick and both men are down. Ivar and Morrison tag in and Morrison lands on his feet on a back body drop. Ivar with a kick and Morrison slides under Ivar and he kicks Ivar in the midsection. Morrison misses a round kick and Ivar with a clothesline. Ivar with a bronco buster into the corner. Ivar goes to the turnbuckles and misses a moonsault when Morrison moves. Morrison with a running knee and he misses Starship Pain. Riddle deflects a drip stick away and sprays Omos. Omos goes after Miz and Morrison tries to stop him but Omos throws Morrison back into the ring.

Erik tags in and they hit the Viking Experience for the three count.

Winners: The Viking Raiders and Riddle

— Jaxson Ryker is in the back and he stares into the camera. We see what happened in the strap match. Ryker smiles and he says wait until you see what he does to Elias tonight.

We go to commercial.

Elias vs. Jaxson Ryker in a Symphony of Destruction Match

We are back and Elias is in the ring. He says there is a truth that will last forever. WWE stands for Walk with Elias.

Jaxson Ryker interrupts on the TitanTron. He says he will interrupt Elias since everyone else has. People are sick and tired of you introducing yourself over and over again. That is why after tonight, we will never hear the words ‘Hello, I am Elias’ again.

Ryker with a running double sledge to Elias followed by a chop and forearms. Elias kicks Ryker and Ryker is sent over the top rope to the floor. Elias grabs a synthesizer but Ryker stops him and Ryker hits Elias with it. He hits Elias in the back with it and then sends Elias face first into it. Ryker gets a near fall. Elias kicks Ryker before Ryker can use a cymbal and then Elias hits Ryker with the cymbal. Elias is sent into a drum kit and then Elias is sent into the drum a few times.

Ryker has a guitar and he goes to the apron. Ryker comes off the apron but Elias with a jumping knee and he gets a near fall. Elias hits Ryker in the back with the synthesizer and then Elias charges at Ryker but Ryker moves and he sends Elias into the gong. Ryker with a kick and he hits Elias in the back with a guitar.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Elias is on the apron with Ryker and he tries for a power bomb off the apron but Ryker blocks it. Elias with a knee and back elbow. Elias with a chop and punch but Ryker with a punch. They go back and forth and Ryker is sent to the floor. Elias kicks Ryker and Ryker blocks being sent into the ring post and Ryker sends Elias into the ring post. Ryker hits Elias in the midsection with a guitar a few times. Elias pushes the drum set into Ryker. Ryker drops a drum onto Elias. Ryker tries to send Elias into the top of the piano but Elias blocks it and Elias sends Ryker into the piano. Elias with a chop and Ryker with a spinebuster onto the piano adn Ryker gets a near fall.

They go on top of the piano and they exchange punches. Elias with a chop and Ryker with a chop. They go back and forth with forearms and Elias gets Ryker on his shoulders but Ryker gets to his feet and he sends Elias into the ringside barrier. Elias trips Ryker and he lands on top of the piano and Elias gets a near fall. Elias sends Ryker into the ring steps. Elias with a boot to the back and Elias gets the Braun Strowman memorial string bass and he hits Ryker in the back with it. Elias hits Ryker in the back with the bass. Elias gets a near fall. Elias with forearms against the ring post. Elias goes up top and Ryker punches him. Elias with forearms and chops to knock Ryker off the turnbuckles.

Ryker with punches to Elias and Ryker tries to superplex Elias back into the ring but he sees the tables on the floor and he changes his plan. Elias is bleeding from the forehead and Ryker goes to the turnbuckles to superplex Elias through the tables and he hits it. Ryker gets the three count.

Winner: Jaxson Ryker

Backstage:

Sonya Deville and Adam Pearce are in the office with Mansoor and Mustafa Ali shows up. Sonya says she talked to Mansoor about being in a tag match next week. Ali says he never wanted that. Mansoor says that he understands what Ali has been telling him. Ali agrees to the match, but just one time and he tells Mansoor not to blow it.

Sheamus enters and he wants to know why does he have to face Humberto Carrillo again after beating him. Sonya tells Sheamus that it is only fair to give Humberto a chance to earn a title match.

We go to commercial.

In the Arena:

We are back and it is time for a Championship Celebration for the new Raw Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair.

Charlotte says this feels good. Charlotte says she is so proud to be here as your queen and the new Raw women’s champion. The last year and a half hasn’t been kind to us, but from adversity comes opportunity and I am the opportunity. I am the opportunity you have been begging for. That snake Rhea Ripley is an opportunist. Do you want to know the difference between the Opportunist and an Opportunity? I don’t need to take from anyone because I created the book. Rhea can do as many moves of mine but she will never live up to the original. You would not believe the outpouring of congratulatory texts and emails when I won the title last night.

Charlotte says that makes her the one time Divas Champion, the five time Smackdown Women’s Champion, and the five time Raw Women’s Champion. I am the only eleven time women’s champion in WWE. Rhea had her chance and she failed. I could beat Rhea any night of the week.

Rhea Ripley’s music hits and she makes her way to the ring.

Charlotte tells Rhea she has her title. Rhea says if you think you can beat me any night of the week, why not tonight? Charlotte says Rhea is in no condition to compete tonight because of the damage done to your leg. You were crying last night about your knee. As much as I would like to finish the job, I’ll decline.

Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville come out to the stage.

Sonya congratulates Charlotte for becoming the new champion. She says however, you did say you could beat Rhea any night of the week. Adam says if Rhea is up for the challenge and since she said she was, you should too. Adam says it is official. You will meet each other in a rematch for the Raw Women’s Championship.

Charlotte throws a shoe in Rhea’s face then kicks Ripley in the knee. Charlotte leaves the ring while Rhea holds her knee.

— We take a look at last night’s Women’s MITB match.

— Alexa Bliss says she cannot wait for her special guest on the Playground.

— Natalya and Tamina make their way to the ring for a match against Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler. But first… We go to commercial.

Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler vs. Tamina and Natalya

The match is joined in progress and Shayna with a knee bar and Nia has a perm. Shayna misses a knee and goes to the floor.Nia pulls Tamina off the apron and she hits a Samoan drop into the ringside barrer. Shayna with a knee for a near fall. Nia tags in and hits a splash into the corner. Shayna tags in and Shayna with a running knee and Nia drops Natalya to the mat. Shayna gets a near fall. Shayna stomps on the elbow. Nia misses a splash and goes shoulder first into the ring psot. Natalya with short arm clotheslines and she finally gets Nia to the mat and gets a near fall. Nia with a double thrust to the throat and Shayna tags in.

Tamina tags in and Natalya with a German suplex. Tamina goes for a super kick but Nia pushes Shayna out of the way and takes the impact. Shayna with a rollup for a near fall. Shayna with kicks but Tamina with a slam. Reginald gets on the apron and Shayna takes care of Tamina. Natalya pulls Reginald off the apron and Shayna hits Natalya. Tamina with a super kick to Shayna for a near fall.

Winners: Natalya and Tamina

After the match, Shayna is not happy with Reginald’s continued problems. Shayna tells Nia they were unbeatable until Reginald got involved. Reginald and Nia hug and then Nia knocks Reginald down with a head butt..

The 24/7 Crew run to the ring to chase Akira Tozawa and everyone has fallen down. Reginald is in the ring with Tozawa and Rginalda with a corkscrew cross body and a flip senton for the three count to become the new 24/7 Champion. Reginald flips over everyone to escape to freedom.

— We see what happened last week between Sheamus and Humberto Carrillo. Sheamus makes his way to the ring as we go to commercial.

Sheamus vs. Humberto Carrillo

Carrillo with punches but Sheamus kicks Carrillo away. Carrillo with a double leg take down and punches. Sheamus goes to the floor. Carrillo with a drop kick through the ropes and he hits a pescado onto Sheamus. Carrillo with forearms to the back but Sheamus kicks Carrillo. Sheamus with a forearm to the back and then he tries to suplex Carrillo back into the ring but Humberto blocks it. Humberto drops Sheamus on the top rope and Humberto goes up top and hits a cross body for a near fall. Carrillo with forearms and kicks to Sheamus.

We see Damian Priest in the back watching.

Humberto goes for the face mask but Sheamus with an elbow. Sheamus goes over the top rope when Carrillo drops down. Sheamus with a double sledge to stop a suicide dive attempt. Sheamus power bombs Humberto on the apron.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Sheamus with an arm bar. Sheamus with a uranage back breakerand then he fish hooks Humberto. Sheamus with forearms across the chest and he returns to a fish hook. Humberto bites Sheamus’ finger and he takes Sheamus down with an arm drag. Humberto with kicks to the leg followed by a jumping round kick. Humberto runs into boots from Sheamus. Humberto with a jumping round kick to the chest and Humberto with a Frankensteiner. Humberto with a drop kick and Sheamus goes to the floor. Humberto with a suicide dive and Sheamus goes over the announce table.

They return to the ring. Humberto with a missile drop kick for a near fall. Humberto with kicks to the chest and he punches Sheamus. Sheamus with a head butt and Humberto is staggered. Sheamus with a Brogue Kick for the three count.

Winner: Sheamus

In the Arena:

Bobby Lashley makes his way to the ring accompanied by MVP for an open challenge. We go to commercial before his opponent came out.

Bobby Lashley says last night he did all the talking he needs to do in this ring when I destroyed Kofi Kingston. No more talking. He tells MVP to tell everyone what’s up.

Porter says you are so lucky to be live in attendance to bear witness to Bobby Lashley. He says he understands why the crowd reacted the way they did because it has been decades since they have seen a winner. Bobby Lashley made a statement at the expense of Kofi Kingston. Kofi said some very harsh and disrespectful things to the champion about him losing his edge and that he was getting soft. Porter says he looked at himself in the mirror and he says that Kofi was right. The champ has lost his edge. The women and the good life was a distraction. He apologizes for bringing that out. Kofi’s words lit an inferno in the champion, the likes that have never been seen.

Anyone who steps into the ring with this man faces utter destruction and anihilation. The window of vulnerability for the champion has closed. No one will take this championship from Bobby Lashley. NO more women. No more champagne. No more fun and games. No more bulls***. We are back to business.

Lashley ask who’s gonna accept his open challenge as Keith Lee music hits and he makes his way to the ring after months of absence!

Back to commercial.

Bobby Lashley vs. Keith Lee

They lock up and go around the ring. They lock up again and Lashley with a clean break but he punches Lee. Lee picks up Lashley and runs him into the corner. Lee runs Lashley into the opposite turnbuckles. Lee runs into a back elbow and Lee with a running cross body to Lashley. Lashley with forearms and Lee pushes Lashley away. Lee gets Lashley up for a Spirit Bomb but Lashley escapes and hits a flatliner. Lashley with punches and he chokes Lee in the ropes. Lee is sent into the turnbuckles and Lashley with punches. Lashley with a running shoulder into the corner. Lashley clotheslines Lee over the top rope to the floor.

Lashley goes to the floor and he gets Lee up but Lee gets to his feet and he sends Lashley into the ring post and Lee with a splash against the ring post. Porter distracts Lee and Lashley knocks him off the apron. Lashley with a spear on the floor. Lashley punches Lee when they return to the ring. Lashley sets for the full nelson, but Lee blocks it. Lee with a hip lock take down but Lashley with a spinebuster. Lashley with a spear and the three count.

Winner: Bobby Lashley

After the match Lashley celebrates in the ring but Goldberg’s music hits and he marches to the ring. Goldberg gets in Lashley’s face and he laughs at Bobby and says ‘I’m Next’. MVP keeps Lashley away from Goldberg.

We go to commercial.

— We are back and Kevin Patrick ambushes Bobby Lashley and MVP about what Goldberg did. Porter says they will not dignify what Goldberg did with a response.

In the Arena:

Jinder Mahal is in the ring with Shanky and Veer. Jinder says it is his birthday. He says it gets better. Drew McIntyre is not Mr. Money in the Bank. Drew took away opportunities that belonged to him so he did the same to Drew. We have a series of video clips to show the recent history between Drew and Jinder. Jinder says as a believer in karma it always comes around. Jinder says he can buy a new motorcycle. He says he can buy 10 motorcycles. You are not going to get a title match as long as Bobby Lashley is champion.

It is time for Shanky to sing Happy Birthday to Jinder Mahal.

Drew McIntyre hits Jinder from behind with a steel chair. Drew hits Veer with the chair. Shanky tries to talk some sense into Drew and Drew backs off until he decides to hit Shanky with the chair many times while Jinder and Veer are on the stage. Drew gets another chair and iti s time to knock some sense into Shanky’s back with the chair as we have multiple camera changes for each of the 20 freaking chair shot.

— We have a video package for Karrion Kross. As the video ends, Karrion Kross emerges from the stage and he makes his way to the ring. No Scarlett. He’ll face Jeff Hardy… Next! Back to commerciak.

Karrion Kross vs. Jeff Hardy

They lock up and Hardy with a side head lock. Kross with a forearm and kicks to Hardy. Kross with an exploder. Kross with another exploder and he kicks Hardy. Kross with another exploder. Kross charges into the corner but Hardy moves and Kross hits the turnbuckles. Hardy with a Twist of Fate and he goes up top for a Swanton but misses when Kross moves. Kross goes for the forearm but Hardy backs Kross into the corner. Kross with elbows. Hardy with a double leg take down and his feet on the ropes for the three count.

Winner: Jeff Hardy

Kevin Patrick asks Kross about losing his Raw debut. Kross says Hardy made the biggest mistake of his life. In the end, you will all fall and pray.

Backstage:

Alexa Bliss is in her playground. She says she is a little sore today but she has a special guest tonight. She introduces the return of Lilly. She says the last time Lilly was around, things got out of hand. Lilly says she will be on her best behavior.

Eva Marie and Doudrop show up and Eva asks if this is a joke. They are back and Eva says that Alexa is ignoring the face and star of WWE to talk to a doll.

Alexa says hello to Doudrop and Alexa is so happy Eva is here. Alexa says it is bad to say anything mean about Lilly. Eva asks if that includes saying that she will have Doudrop throw Lilly in the trash. Alexa suggests putting Doudrop in time out so we can see what Eva Marie can do on her own without any help.

Eva says she does not want to waste her time with Alexa or Lilly. Eva falls down as she starts to leave.

We go to commercial.

— We are back and Omos and AJ Styles will have to defend the tag titles against the Viking Raiders next week on Raw.

Charlotte Flair vs. Rhea Ripley for the Raw Women’s Championship

After their entrances, we go to another commercial.

Rhea sends Charlotte face first into the mat and then Rhea with a splash into the corner and shoulders. Charlotte with a Flair flip and a slingshot into the ring for an arm bar. Charlotte and Rhea exchange forearms. Charlotte with an Irish whip and Rhea with a drop kick out of the corner and she gets a near fall. Rhea with knees to the head while she has Charlotte in a cravate. Charlotte avoids being sent into the turnbuckles and Charlotte sends Rhea into the turnbuckles. Charlotte with a chop and she sends Rhea into the turnbuckles. Charlotte goes for a supelx but Ripley counters with an inside cradle for a near fall. Rhea goes for a suplex but Charlotte lands on her feet. Rhea with a German suplex.

Rhea with a drop kick for a near fall. Charlotte with a hard Irish whip and a clothesline that sends Rhea over the top rope to the floor. Charlotte knocks Rhea off the apron and Rhea holds her knee. Charlotte goes to the floor and clips Rhea and then sends Rhea back into the ring. The referee checks on Rhea and holds Charlotte back as we go to our final commercial.

We are back and Charlotte with a knee drop to the injured leg in the ropes. Charlotte wraps the leg in the ropes and stomps on the knee. Rhea kicks Charlotte into the turnbuckles and Rhea with a German suplex. Rhea and Charlotte exchange forearms. Rhea with short arm clotheslines and a back heel kick. Rhea with a Northern Lights suplex for a near fall. Charlotte with a back breaker and a boot to the chest. Charlotte goes for a moonsault but Rhea gets her knees up. Rhea sets for a figure four leg lock and locks it in. Charlotte reverses the hold and Rhea gets to the ropes. Charlotte with kicks to Rhea and follows with chops.

Rhea with a boot and kick to Charlotte. Rhea with Riptide and Charlotte gets her foot on the ropes while the picture starts to pixelate (well played).

Charlotte takes her title belt and walks up the ramp. Rhea follows and Charlotte hits Rhea with the belt and the referee calls for the bell.

Winner by DQ: Rhea Ripley

After the match, Rhea attacks Charlotte and Nikki A.S.H. comes to the ring with her briefcase. She says she is going to cash in!

Nikki A.S.H. vs. Charlotte Flair for the Raw Women’s Championship

As Charlotte gets on her feet, Nikki with a cross body for the three count.

Winner and NEW Raw Women’s Champion: Nikki A.S.H.

After the bell, the music hits and Cross celebrates her big win. We get a brief replay and Cross takes the title to ringside to celebrate with the fans. The post-Money In the Bank edition of WWE RAW quickly goes off the air.
