Tamina Still Under WWE Contract – Tamina has been off WWE television for more than two years, yet remains under contract with the company, according to a new report from Fightful Select. Although she hasn’t wrestled since February 2023, WWE has not issued a release nor has Tamina publicly announced her retirement.
Sources indicate that Tamina is currently not assigned to any WWE brand, is not listed on internal rosters, and is rarely seen backstage at events. However, WWE has not commented publicly on her status, leaving her future with the company unclear.
A second-generation performer, Tamina is the daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka. She signed with WWE in 2009 and made her main roster debut in 2010. Over the years, she has played a supporting role in numerous storylines, and in 2021, she captured the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship alongside Natalya, marking the most significant title run of her career.
Tamina’s last match came during a period where she was working sporadically on both RAW and SmackDown. Since then, she has not been involved in televised programming or live events, fueling questions about her future with the company. While her long absence has led many to assume she had quietly exited WWE, the new report confirms that she is still contractually tied to the organization — even though she appears to be inactive in every other respect.
As of now, there is no indication of when, or if, Tamina will return to WWE programming, nor is it known whether her deal includes any backstage or ambassador responsibilities.
