Roman Reigns Reaches WWE Milestone

Roman Reigns Reaches WWE Milestone – After going on hiatus shortly before WrestleMania 36 last year, Roman Reigns took time off from WWE during the COVID-19 pandemic to be with his family. When he returned at SummerSlam, he had a whole new character as WWE finally turned him heel.

Reigns beat Bray Wyatt for the Universal Title in August 2020 at the Payback pay-per-view event.

Reigns has reached an accomplishment as he has now held the title for 301 days. He’s still behind Brock Lesnar for the longest single reign as Universal Champion at 504 days.

“The Big Dog” will make his next title defense as the Universal Champion against Edge at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view event on Sunday, July 18, 2021 from Fort Worth, Texas at Dickies Arena that will air on Peacock.

Earlier this year at WrestleMania 37, Reigns beat Edge and Daniel Bryan by pinning them both at the same time in a triple threat match to retain the title.
