Miro Wins TNT Title On Dynamite – Miro won the AEW TNT Championship against Darby Allin on tonight’s AEW Dynamite.
Miro brutally attacked Allin in and around the ring before the match got started while Sting looked on from ringside. Page and Sky were shown watching from the seats. The referee eventually started the match apparently because Allin told him to ring the bell. Allin was finally about to hit a pair of missile dropkicks at ringside, followed up with a dive through the ropes onto Miro.
Late in the match, Miro ripped off the Kinesio tape off of Allin’s shoulder before tossing him around the ring some more. Allin was able to get in another burst of offense on Miro, including a coffin drop and the Code Red but Miro kicked out of the pin attempts. Miro turned things around and locked in the Game Over (camel clutch) and the referee stopped the match.
Miro is the new champion. Immediately after, Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky ran out to attack but other wrestlers ran out to run them off. The show ended with Lance Archer walking out and pointing at Miro so it looks like Archer will be Miro’s first title defense.
