Asuka vs Rhea Ripley Announced For WrestleMania 37 – Asuka got a win over Peyton Royce on this week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw and then she was confronted by the newest member of the Raw roster, Rhea Ripley.
Ripley walked out to the ring and talked about Asuka being one of the greatest women’s champions in history. She also talked about how Charlotte Flair challenged Asuka a couple of weeks ago and “now Charlotte Flair is not here” because she is recovering from COVID.
Ripley then challenged Asuka for a match at WrestleMania 37. Asuka accepted the challenge so the match is set as WWE confirmed few minutes later on Twitter.
WrestleMania 37 will take place on Saturday, April 10 and Sunday, April 11 from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. Below is the updated card, along with shots from tonight’s non-title match and Ripley’s debut:
