
— A noted, Kevin Owens lost the battle against Roman Reigns at Sunday’s WWE TLC pay-per-view event, due to Jey Uso multiple interferences during the match.
This led to fans asking him on Twitter about why no one came to help him take care of Jey. On Twitter, Owens had some interesting answers:
WWE has already confirmed that a rematch will take place between these two stars as Owens will challenge Reigns once again for the Universal Title in a Steel Cage match on Friday’s episode of SmackDown.
— The Miz did cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase at last night’s WWE TLC, but it didn’t go as planned in the storyline mind of the character.
WWE’s stats & info Twitter account noted that The Miz made history, but perhaps not the way that he wanted to do so.
“.@mikethemiz is now the only Superstar in @WWE history to have both a successful and an unsuccessful Money in the Bank contract cash-in. #WWETLC.”
If you recall, The Miz cashed in his first Money in the Bank contract on a November 2010 episode of Raw after a successful WWE Championship defense by Randy Orton against Wade Barrett. The Miz pinned Orton to become the new WWE Champion. During this WWE Title reign, The Miz headlined WrestleMania 27 against John Cena.
