Dynamite & NXT Viewership Down Due To Election Coverage

Last night’s AEW Dynamite show delivered 717,000 viewers for Wednesday’s episode on TNT, according to Showbuzzdaily. The viewership count was down from the 781,000 viewers who watched last week’s episode.

Wednesday’s NXT episode produced 610,000 viewers for USA Network. The number was way down from the 876,000 viewers who watched last week’s episode.

Dynamite finished 56th in the 18-49 demographic with a .30 in the cable ratings. AEW won the night over NXT, which delivered a .14 in the 18-49 demo for USA Network.

Both shows were clearly affected by the U.S. Presidential election coverage. NXT was coming off the Halloween Havoc episode, which performed stronger than usual.
