As noted, Keith Lee is officially headed to the WWE “red brand” and will debut on tonight’s RAW episode.
We reported back in November how Vince McMahon sees big things in the future of Keith Lee and Matt Riddle. McMahon’s feeling on Lee is that he could be a powerhouse heel now that he got called up to the main roster. Lee and Matt Riddle have been praised by people in management.
PWInsider reported today that Lee is going to be presented as one of the top babyfaces going forward. We were told that, at some point, the plan is to turn him heel to feud with the top babyface over the WWE Championship.
Lee dropped the NXT Title to Karrion Kross at Saturday’s NXT “Takeover: XXX” event, just over one month after winning it. For those of you that missed it, check out the video teasing Lee’s debut on tonight’s RAW episode.
