During the Karaoke segment on last night’s SmackDown, you may have noticed that Lacey Evans has quietly turned heel without any real explanation.
Just a couple of months ago, Lacey Evans was one of the main focal points on SmackDown when they began to play up her military background with the Marine Corps and the fact that she is a mother. Her daughter was featured on the shows in a storyline where Bayley was portrayed as the bully.
This week on SmackDown, Evans turned heel without explanation and attacked Naomi during the karaoke segment. That led to a match that featured Evans wrestling in her skirt since she was not prepared for a match.
Things ended with the other women in the karaoke battle, Tamina and Dana Brooke, getting involved but it was made very clear that Evans is back to being a heel.
You can check out a clip from the karaoke segment below. As you can see, they used past Superstar entrance music for the karaoke battle with Namoi singing Dusty Rhodes’ WWF theme, Tamina singing Triple H’s theme, Lacey Evans signing Road Dogg/Jeff Jarret’s With My Baby Tonight and Dana Brooke singing The Honky Tonk Man’s theme.
