Hikaru Shida Wins AEW Women's World Championship, Injury Update On Britt Baker

– Britt Baker was scheduled to face Kris Statlander at tonight’s Double or Nothing, but was pulled from the PPV because a knee injury she sustained on Wednesday’s Dynamite.

On tonight’s PPV it was announced Baker sustained a fracture and partial LCL tear in her knee. In regards to a return timetable, Baker will discuss that on this Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite.

– Hikaru Shida won the AEW Women’s World Championship against Nyla Rose in a No DQ / No Count-Out Match at tonight’s AEW Double or Nothing PPV.

Shida cracked Rose in the head with a kendo stick and a running knee strike for the pinfall victory. Rose won the title back in February.
