Kalisto has been away from WWE for a bit as he deals with injuries, but the superstar has recently posted a brand new video to his YouTube channel where he provided an update on his status.
Speaking in the video, Kalisto noted that he’s been seeing a lot of fans reaching out to him to ask if he was still with the company. Kalisto reassured fans that he was still with the WWE, but was hurt last year. According to the superstar, Kalisto was hurt on December 31 at the Staples Center, where he suffered an AC separation in his shoulder and also tore a ligament.
While the injury is unfortunate, Kalisto said that he didn’t require surgery for the issues, but would require a much longer road to recovery before he’s 100%. Kalisto ended things by thanking his teammates in Lince Dorado and Gran Metalik for standing by him, and said that he would be seeing everyone soon.
