Seth Rollins released a brief update on his Deadboys Fitness Instagram page addressing questions about whether or not this year’s WrestleMania 36 will take place due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.
The Messiah states that he doesn’t have the answer as it’s currently all “up in the air,” but he will be at the Performance Center this Monday for an empty arena episode of Raw.
WrestleMania. I don’t know. Don’t ask me questions. I don’t know. I am not in charge of that. I go where they tell me. This Monday I’ll be in Orlando at the PC doing Raw in front of nobody just like SmackDown was on Friday. Probably just how NXT will be on Wednesday. About WrestleMania…nobody knows it’s all up in the air. So just wait for further announcements from WWE social pages.
Rollins also states that his Deadboys event taking place in Tampa is also pending depending on whether the “Show of Shows” continues.
As of this writing, Mania is still scheduled for April 5th from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. City officials recently announced on FOX 13 that if WWE doesn’t make a decision soon, they will be the ones to “pull the plug.”
