CM Punk decided to take a jab at a WWE doctor while also providing an update on his status for tonight’s (December 3rd) episode of WWE Backstage on FS1.
It also started when Punk responded to a tweet by a fan on Twitter about a tweet he sent out six years ago about pooping his pants while wrestling on SmackDown as he was on a heavy dose of antibiotics.
This is where he wrote, “Never forget the over prescribed Z-pac given without prescription.”
Punk also responded to a fan asking about his status for WWE Backstage where he noted that he wouldn’t be on the show this week but is pretty sure that he’ll appear next week as an analyst.

Nah. Hard pass. Next week though! (90% sure next week)— CM Pumpkinpie (@CMPunk) December 3, 2019
Punk’s departure from WWE in 2014 went bad as the company gave him his termination papers on his wedding day and was sued by WWE doctor Chris Amann.
The first tweet was about Amann. Punk made comments about Amann on Colt Cabana’s “Art of Wrestling” podcast from November of 2014. As a result, it eventually led to a lawsuit because Punk alleged that Amann kept giving him Z-pacs for what turned out to be a bad case of staph infection on his lower back.
In the end, the jury ruled that they are in favor of Punk and Cabana on all counts filed by Amann.
