Negative Feedback Over Bad Mugshot Photos of Bobby Lashley and Lana, Match Announced For Smackdown

– WWE has announced Roman Reigns vs. Dolph Ziggler for Friday’s SmackDown episode on FOX.

It was previously announced that King Baron Corbin was looking to humiliate Reigns on this week’s show. They also teased an update on Daniel Bryan after his incident with “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt last week.

Friday’s episode will take place at the Crown Coliseum in Fayetteville, NC. Below is the announcement on Reigns vs. Ziggler:

Roman Reigns to face Dolph Ziggler as struggle for SmackDown supremacy continues

As The Glorious One is stretchered out by medics following The Big Dog’s brutal beatdown, Roman Reigns continues to target Robert Roode as he exits the arena.

Dolph Ziggler is next up to do the king’s bidding in the ongoing rivalry with Roman Reigns.

On last week’s SmackDown, King Corbin evaded the challenge and summoned Robert Roode to face Reigns. The Big Dog took exception to The Glorious One’s attempted scepter brutality and sent the competitor on a less than glorious stretcher ride out of the arena.

Will The Showoff score a royal victory for Corbin’s court? Or will Reigns lay waste to another minion as the battle for control of SmackDown continues?

– WWE received some negative feedback from fans on social media this week for the really bad “mugshot photos” they released of Bobby Lashley and Lana, which say they are from the Nashville Police Department. You can see the photo below.

As noted, Monday’s RAW from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville saw police arrest Lana and Lashley after they tried to have Rusev arrested but their plan back-fired as the officer was aware of their situation that has been playing out over WWE TV for several weeks now. WWE released a storyline update the next day that said both Lashley and Lana had been released from a Nashville jail. They also released “post-arrest statements” from Lana and Lashley.

Lana said, “How can I be arrested by an off-duty police officer, hired by me, to protect myself?”

Lashley added, “I’ve been advised by attorneys to not speak about the case because it could involve future litigation.”
