Tonight’s WWE NXT opening match saw Angel Garza defeat Lio Rush to become the new NXT Cruiserweight Champion.
This is Garza’s first title run with the company. Rush won the title back on October 9 by defeating Drew Gulak.
After his title match and during the commercial break, Garza took the mic and pointed out his family at ringside. Garza then brought his girlfriend into the ring and proposed to her, dropping to one knee and pulling a ring out. She said yes.
