As seen on RAW last night, Lana revealed that she has filed for divorce from Rusev. As such, she’s also received a restraining order from her soon-to-be ex-husband.
As a result, Rusev can’t be within 90 feet (or miles, or days) of Lana. She says that herself and Bobby Lashley just want to move on with their life.
This was followed by Bobby Lashley wrestling No Way Jose and beating him with very little trouble. Then Lana and Lashley made out in the ring. It appears that the trials between Lana and Rusev will continue.
During the segment, Lana botched her line and Bobby Lashley had to correct her. Then she messed up her line again. Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE scripted that first mistake, but the second one was all on her.
“You wanna know the script on this? Because I actually know. She was supposed to say 90 miles, she was not supposed to say 90 days and it was supposed to end up 90 feet. She was supposed to say 90 miles, Lashley was supposed to correct her and she was supposed to say 90 feet.”
“Somehow she said 90 days which she wasn’t supposed to say. So, she did, in fact, screw up — I thought the 90 miles had to be a screw-up, but in fact, that actually was part of the script.”
Bryan Alvarez mentioned how Lana and Rusev must be thinking about 90 day no-compete clauses for some reason. That was a funny take on this mistake from the Ravishing Russian. So, Lana was supposed to mess up last night on Raw, but she just wasn’t supposed to mess up that much.
