The Fiend Bray Wyatt Wins The WWE Universal Championship

The Fiend Bray Wyatt Wins The WWE Universal Championship
The Universal Championship match between “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt and Seth Rollins was the main event of WWE Crown Jewel in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Earlier in the show, Rollins did an interview and indicated that this match would be the end of their feud. This was a Falls Count Anywhere match and WWE said the match could not be stopped under any circumstances.

They wrestled the match under the red light, just like they did at the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view. The match included weapons. Some of those weapons included chairs, tables and a sledgehammer. At one point Rollins rolled out of the way as Wyatt crashed through a table as he was attempting a senton splash. Later on, Wyatt shoved Rollins off the top rope and through tables that were set up earlier at ringside.

They eventually made their way up the ramp and to the stage area. Rollins curb stomped Wyatt a few times but Wyatt kept getting up. Wyatt fell off the stage and into some electrical wires that sparked when he fell in them. Wyatt no sold all of this and then locked in the mandible claw and then hit Sister Abigail and pinned Seth Rollins to win the title.

This is the first Universal Title reign for Wyatt. Rollins won the title back at WWE SummerSlam in August by defeating current WWE Champion Brock Lesnar.

It will be interesting to see if Wyatt ends up working RAW and SmackDown now as he was recently drafted to the blue brand. SmackDown also has WWE Champion Brock Lesnar on the roster.

After the match, the lights went out and Wyatt appeared on the stage with the title in his hand.
