It looks like tonight’s WWE Clash of Champions pay-per-view will be very newsworthy.
Things can change in the next few hours but the WrestleVotes insider news account is reporting that there have been serious discussions about taking the Universal Championship off of Seth Rollins.
If that is what happens tonight then that would mean that Braun Strowman will defend the Universal Championship against “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt next month at the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view.
Rollins vs. Wyatt is being advertised for some upcoming live events but it looks like those matches will be changed.
I was told that there are no plans to beat Bray Wyatt anytime soon because Paul Heyman wants to treat him as a special attraction similar to The Undertaker. Before Heyman was announced as the Executive Director of Raw, I heard of plans to have Wyatt win the Universal Championship by the end of the year so he could defend it at WrestleMania. So far, all signs point to those plans still being in place.
WrestleVotes insider news account is reporting that Rollins will move on to a new program with Drew McIntyre after tonight.
McIntyre has been out of action with a minor injury but he is ready to return to action. He is someone that people in management see as a top star so it looks like they are kicking his push into another gear with a feud with Rollins.
