Saraya Denies WWE Evolution Return Rumors – As WWE Evolution approaches, speculation continues to swirl about possible surprise appearances and returns. One of the names frequently floated by fans is Saraya (formerly Paige), especially after her recent departure from AEW. However, the former Divas Champion has directly addressed those rumors — and shut them down.
In an interview with the Orlando Sentinel, Saraya confirmed that she has not had any discussions with WWE about returning for the upcoming all-women’s premium live event.
“I haven’t had a conversation with them,” Saraya said. “I know, I always get tagged in everything, as soon as there’s a mystery going around, they’re like, ‘Hey, she’s coming back.’ But no. I love the WWE, but no.”
Saraya parted ways with AEW earlier this year in March, leading to speculation that she could resurface in WWE, particularly for Evolution 2025. However, she clarified that she is currently enjoying a break from wrestling to focus on her personal growth and outside ventures.
“It feels good to take a little break from wrestling and then see the outpouring of love from people saying they want me back,” she said. “I just want to get my feet wet outside of wrestling for a little bit and take care of myself this year. It’s consumed me my whole life. All 32 years of my life has been wrestling, so I just want to find myself a little bit outside it and next year, maybe come back.”
Saraya is currently promoting her new book, Hell in Boots, and focusing on her Rulebreakers podcast. She also emphasized that while she’s not ruling out a return entirely, 2025 won’t be the year — at least not for now.
Saraya’s last WWE match occurred nearly eight years ago, prior to her forced retirement due to injury. While fans may still hope for her eventual return to the squared circle, she appears content with life away from the ring — for now.
