In addition to WWE possibly moving NXT Takeover events from the WWE Network to FS1, there are also plants to possibly feature more of the shows annually.
Joseph Peisech reported on the latest installment of the No Holds Barred podcast that WWE wants to add additional NXT Takeover events. The idea is instead of having just four or five shows per year, they want to extend it to eight.
Nothing appears to be set in stone and plans can always change. We will keep you updated if we receive any additional information regarding the status of NXT Takeover events and WWE’s deal with FOX.
