– Dave Meltzer indicated in the latest issue of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Mark Henry is pretty much retired as an active WWE Superstar for the company.
Henry’s last match was the Andre Memorial Battle Royal last year and he only completed in a total of three matches for 2017.
While Henry remains under contract with WWE, he is being advertised for Northeast Wrestling on March 2nd in Waterbury, CT for a show that includes Rey Mysterio, Emma, Flip Gordon and Matt Riddle. This is a charity event and he’s not looking for any other dates and won’t be wrestling on the show.
– Dave Meltzer also reports that the top two matches scheduled for WrestleMania 34 are Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns and John Cena vs. The Undertaker.
The company has promoted The Undertaker for the RAW 25th show and he was backstage at this past Tuesday for SmackDown Live. The belief is that they will shoot an angle for Undertaker’s match against Cena at the 25th anniversary of RAW.
