WWE RAW Opener:

Kurt Angle makes his way to the ring. He welcomes everyone to Raw and he says we have a great show tonight with a Tag Title Match. Kurt says that is not the only championship match tonight. There will be an Intercontinental Title Match tonight as well. Roman Reigns will defend his title against…

Jason Jordan’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring and he has something to say.

Jason tells Kurt before he says anything else, he wants Roman Reigns. Kurt asks Jason if we are going to go through this again. He says that Jason’s leg is taped up again. Jason says he has been in the ring with Roman Reigns, John Cena, Kane, the Miz, and he has held his own with them. Roman made an open challenge to anyone in the ring and he wants to step up and face Roman Reigns. He tells his dad he only needs the chance.

Roman Reigns comes out to the stage and he holds up the title belt. Roman walks to the ring, looks at Jason and says he is a fighting champion so he will tell Kurt who he is fighting and it ain’t Kurt’s son. Roman says he wants Samoa Joe. Roman has some advise for Kurt’s son. Don’t run to your daddy, step up and take it. Jason asks Roman about being the one to talk to about getting opportunities. He says Roman is everything that WWE management wants and he is the poster boy. Roman says he has been on a lot of posters and a lot of chairs because he has main evented a lot of shows. He earned it by grinding it out. If you want something, step up and take it.

Samoa Joe comes out and he says as much as he loves to sit in the back while watching you puff up your chest and pretend to be tough. Joe says his patience is running thin. Joe accepts the challenge, but he will give Roman five seconds to avoid the challenge because Roman knows that he cannot beat Joe.

Jason Jordan says he does not have to try to talk tough, Unlike Joe, he is tough. He does not have to attack people from behind. He makes challenges to people’s faces. He made a challenge to Roman Reigns and he is making a challenge to Samoa Joe. Roman says the five seconds are done… Jordan hits a belly-to-belly suplex on Reigns.

Kurt sends Jason out of the ring and Roman says it ain’t going down that way. Joe can wait for later tonight. Jordan, you can get it right now. He tells Kurt to make the match. Jordan returns to the ring and faces off with Reigns as Angle keeps them apart. We go to commercial.

Roman Reigns vs. Jason Jordan for the Intercontinental Title

Back from the break and the match is underway. Reigns takes Jordan to the corner and unloads. We see Joe watching the match from the stage. Jordan tries to mount some offense but Reigns shuts him down. Jordan goes to the floor but Reigns follows. Reins works Jordan around and tosses him into the barrier as the referee counts.

Reigns continues beating Jordan around on the outside until they come back in, including sending him into the steel ring steps. Jordan enters first and nails Reigns a few times as he comes back in. Reigns sends Jordan back out of the ring and the referee counts. Reigns with a Drive By on the floor. Reigns beings it back into the ring for a 2 count. Reigns keeps Jordan down with a chinlock now, talking trash.

Jordan gets up and looks to finally make a comeback, ramming Reigns from corner to corner. Jordan keeps control with more shots into the corner. Jordan misses a running spear in the corner but Jordan counters Reigns right after that and sends him out of the ring. We go back to commercial with Jordan standing tall.

We are back and Jordan with an arm bar while Joe continues to watch from his perch on the stage. Roman with punches and a head butt. Jordan with a knee but Roman with two clotheslines followed by a flying clothesline. Roman with NeverEnding Story in the corner. Reigns gets a near fall. Roman sets for the Superman punch but Jordan with a drop kick for a near fall.

Reigns with an uppercut that sends Jordan to the floor. Reigns goes to the floor and he goes for a Superman punch off the steps but Jordan catches Reigns and sends Roman into the ring post> Jordan with a flying shoulder that sends Reigns into the steps and ring post. Jordan gets a near fall. Reigns with elbows to the back of the neck but he misses a Superman punch again. Jordan with a Saito suplex for a near fall and we go to commercial.

Reigns with a DDT for a near fall. Reigns with a single leg crab. Jordan tries to get to the ropes but Reigns pulls him back into the center of the ring. Jordan with an inside cradle for a near fall. Roman with a Superman Punch for a near fall.

We see Jordan reinjuring his knee during the commercial break.

Reigns looks around and sets for the spear. Jordan with a kick and Northern Lights suplex. Jordan holds on and rolls through for a second one and gets a near fall. Reigns counters a suplex with a head lock take down. Reigns with a Superman punch and spear for the three count.

Winner: Roman Reigns

After the match, Reigns sits up and takes the title as we go to replays. Joe takes the mic from the stage and taunts Reigns for looking tired, saying maybe Jordan wore him out. Joe says he’s coming to the ring to put Reigns to sleep. Joe runs and hits the ring, unloading on Reigns, who is still trying to recover from the match. Joe applies the Coquina Clutch but Jordan comes from behind and delivers a suplex. Jordan talks trash and tells Joe to bring it as Joe goes to the floor. Joe talks trash back at Jordan and he’s fired up as a referee stands in his way. Reigns comes from behind and delivers a Superman Punch to Jordan, knocking him out of the ring. Reigns’ music hits as Joe taunts him from the stage about putting him to sleep later tonight. We go to replays again.

– Still to come, The Bar defends against Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose. We go to commercial.

Backstage:

We are back and Kurt Angle is on the phone and Jason enters. Kurt tells Stephanie he will have everything under control. Jason asks for a rematch against Roman Reigns next week and he wants a match against Samoa Joe. Kurt says he has done enough for him already and he does not want to look like he is playing favorites with Jason. Kurt tells Jason he will take it under advisement and he tells Jason to get out of his office. Jordan goes to leave but Joe runs in and lays him out. Joe is fired up as he taunts Angle, saying like father like son. Joe leaves as Angle helps Jordan up.

– The announcers lead us to a video package on Absolution’s Paige, Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville.

Paige vs. Sasha Banks

We go to the ring and out comes Paige for her return with Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville. We go to commercial.

Back from the break and RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss is on commentary. Sasha Banks is out next with Bayley and Mickie James at her side. We see recent Twitter drama between the two teams.

They lock up and they break. Sasha with a slap but Paige with a kick and head butt. Sasha with a Thesz Press and punches. Sasha tosses Paige by the hair. Sasha kicks Paige and follows with forearms in the corner. Paige with a kick and she sends Sasha into the turnbuckles. Paige with a running kick and she gets a near fall. Paige with a rear chin lock. Paige with an Irish whip but Sasha with forearms.

Paige tosses Sasha by the hair and kicks her in the corner. Paige chokes Sasha in the ropes. Sasha goes for a kick but Paige with a drop toe hold into a step over toe hold and reverse chin lock. Paige gets a near fall as she has something to say to Mickie and Bayley. Sasha with punches but Paige with forearms. Paige with a front face lock. Sasha with an inside cradle for a near fall. Paige with a clothesline.

Paige with punches. Sasha grabs Paige’s leg and Sasha with a knee to the head and a head scissors. Paige sends Sasha to the apron and Sasha with a forearm and she goes up top for a cross body and gets a near fall. Sasha with a straitjacket choke and she puts Paige across her knees. Sasha rolls Paige over into a Japanese Strangehold stretch and she slams Paige’s head into the mat.

Paige gets to the ropes and Sasha releases the hold. Paige talks to Mandy and Sonya and Paige with a double leg take down and punches. Sasha with punches and she sends Paige face first into the mat. Paige with punches and Sasha avoids a slam. Both women go through the ropes to the floor.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Paige with a front face lock. Paige chokes Sasha in the ropes. We see footage from the commercial break when Paige pulled Sasha off the turnbuckles and she landed awkwardly. Paige chokes Sasha in the ropes. Paige with a thrust kick and Irish whip but Sasha gets a boot up and Sasha with a running clothesline or two. Sasha with a drop kick. Sasha with running knees into the corner but she misses when she goes for a second one. Paige with a running knee into the corner and then Paige goes up top. Sasha stops Paige and sets for a superplex.

Paige with a sunset flip power bomb for a near fall. The referee checks on Sasha and Paige with forearms. Sasha fires back. Paige runs Sasha into the ropes and Paige sets for RamPaige but Sasha blocks it. Sasha with the Banks Statement but Paige gets to the ropes. Paige rolls to the floor and Rose and Deville check on her but Sasha goes to the floor. Bayley attacks Sonya and Mickie goes after Mandy. Sonya sends Bayley into the ringside barrier and Sonya hits Mickie in the back of the leg while Mandy deals with her. Paige kicks a distracted Sasha and hits RamPaige for the three count.

Winner: Paige

After the match, Sonya and Mandy attack Sasha. Sonya with knees and Mandy with a gourdbuster onto Sonya’s knee.

Backstage:

Kurt Angle is in his office on his phone and his eyes sparkle as he hears Elias’ music. Elias tells Kurt to silence his cell phone and put it away and hold his applause until he is finished. Elias says he wants another shot at the Intercontinental Title and instead you gave it to your son and that is a sign of favoritism. Elias says that the City of Angels wants to walk with Elias. Since there are no opponents, he will provide a musical performance. Elias says that Kurt’s bias towards his bastard son will be his downfall. Kurt tells Elias to have his concert while he looks for a worthy opponent for Elias.

– Still to come, The Bar defends. Also, a look at fallout from Braun Strowman’s attack on Kane from last week. We go to commercial.

– We are back with a (very long) video package for the feud between Braun Strowman and Kane.

Backstage:

Enzo Amore is with the Zo Train and he says that Tony Nese and Drew Gulak have the opportunity of a lifetime. Last week, Dar and Daivari let Rich Swann beat them. You are all a direct reflection of him. Enzo says you do not lose and lose. He tells Drew and Tony to get the job done. Enzo turns around and Nia Jax is there. Nia asks Enzo ‘how you doin’. We go to commercial.

Cedric Alexander vs. Tony Nese vs. Drew Gulak vs. Mustafa Ali in a Number One Contender Qualifying Match

Gulak and Nese work over Alexander and Ali. Drew with a side head lock on Cedric and he holds on as Alexander tries to send him off the ropes. Alexander with a head scissors and drop kick to Gulak. Ali drop kicks Nese to the floor. Alexander with a rollup on Ali for a near fall. Alexander with a side head lock. Ali with a head scissors.

We see Rich Swann watching in the back. Ali appears to have tweaked his knee and Nese and Gulak pull him out of the ring. Alexander with a flip dive onto Gulak and Nese. Alexander with a front face lock to Alexander. Nese joins in the attack in the corner as they kick Alexander. Nese puts Alexander in the tree of woe. Drew with an ankle lock while Nese does some abs work.

Nese goes up top and Gulak tells him this is a No Fly Zone. Drew pulls Nese gently off the turnbuckles. They argue and Ali with a cross body to both men and he gets a near fall on Nese and Gulak. Ali with a front face lock but Gulak with a splash into the corner. Gulak with a punch to Ali but Ali punches back. Ali with a kick but Gulak with a chop. Alexander with clotheslines to Gulak. Alexander with a kick to Drew and then he sets for the slingshot flatline but Nese breaks up the cover. Alexander tries for Lumbar Check but Nese lands on his feet and connects with a forearm. Ali with a slingshot rolling neck breaker to Nese. Gulak with a clothesline and Alexander with a springboard clothesline.

We go to commercial.

We are back and we see the Tower of Doom from the commercial break. Drew with a step over toe hold and chin lock on Alexander. Alexander with a forearm to Gulak followed by a chop. Alexander with a handspring round kick for a near fall that is broken up by Ali. Alexander throws his elbow pad at Ali. Nese with a back heel kick to Alexander followed by a kick to Ali. Nese falls victim to a double super kick and then Ali and Alexander punch each other as if they are on the Kings. Alexander with a back elbow.

Ali with a spinning back heel kick to Alexander and then he slaps Cedric. Alexander with a standing C4 and Nese breaks up the cover. Ali with an uppercut and he goes to the turnbuckles but Nese crotches him on the top rope. Alexander with a forearm to Nese. Nese with a rolling palm strike. Nese sets for a superplex but Alexander knocks Nese off the turnbuckles. Ali goes for a springboard move but Alexander counters with a C4 and both men are down. Ali gets a near fall when Gulak breaks up the cover.

Ali and Gulak are in the ring. Drew with a jaw breaker and he tries for a suplex but Ali blocks it. Ali blocks another suplex but Gulak with slaps. Ali with a rollup after countering a suplex. Ali with a round kick and then he goes up top for the inward 450 splash but Nese pulls Gulak to the floor. Ali grabs Nese by the hair and Nese with an enzuigiri. Nese with a running knee and Alexander with a Lumbar Check on NEse. Alexander with a Lumbar Check on Ali and Gulak sends Alexander to the floor and gets the three count.

Winner: Drew Gulak

After the match, Gulak celebrates as we go to replays. Gulak vs. Swann is now set for next week’s RAW with the winner facing Enzo the following week. Charly Caruso enters the ring and interviews Gulak, asking if he’s conflicted about possibly facing the leader of The Zo Train. Gulak calls it a hard-hitting question that can only be answered in a hard-hitting way like his… PowerPoint Presentation. Graves says we’re out of time and won’t get to see the presentation. It looks like this may air during the commercial.

– We see Elias backstage walking. Cole leads us to a preview for Wednesday’s Total Divas episode with Lana and Rusev. Back to commercial.

In the Arena:

We are back and Elias is in the ring. Elias has a question for everyone… who wants to walk with Elias? He says this is a city that worships vapid celebrities, but he is fame, music, and the air you breathe. Elias says that he is everything. Everybody wants to be famous. Elias mocks someone in the crowd. He says he was promised some worthy competition but until then he has a song to sing.

The music of Braun Strowman hits in the arena and he marches to the ring.

Elias hits Strowman from behind and then Strowman keeps Elias from getting out of the ring and he hits a splash and he biels Elias. Strowman with a splash and a running boot to the head. The referee checks on Elias and Strowman runs into boots. Elias sends Strowman into the ring post and he hits Strowman in the back with the guitar. Strowman does not feel the guitar shot and then Elias tries to escape through the ring but Strowman goes around the ring and clotheslines Elias on the floor. Strowman with a running power slam to Elias.

Strowman throws the ring steps into the ring but Kane’s music and he is on the TitanTron. Kane says Strowman has been a monster among men so long he has forgotten what it is like to be a Monster Among Monsters. He delights in pain and horror. Kane says he will delight next week when they meet in the ring. They will descend into the abyss and only one monster will emerge.

Backstage:

The Shield is backstage. Reigns says he did his part tonight and now it’s time for Rollins and Ambrose to do theirs. Rollins says it’s just them and The Bar, and they always get the job done when it’s them and The Bar. Ambrose is surprised that the rematch is tonight after being away for a week on his honeymoon in Hawaii. Rollins asks if Ambrose has been using his cell phone and Reigns comments on Ambrose not using the internet. Rollins and Ambrose are confident going into tonight’s match.

– Still to come, Asuka will be in action. Back to commercial.

– We are back and Alicia Fox had comments earlier today and she says she saw what Asuka did to Dana Brooke, but she is not Dana Brooke. She led the Raw team to victory and got a t-shirt and she will end Asuka’s undefeated streak.

Asuka vs. Alicia Fox

Alicia with a kick and forearms followed by a hip toss. Alicia with a side head lock. Alicia with a shoulder tackle but Asuka does not move. Alicia with another and it has no effect on Asuka. Asuka with a running hip attack followed by a biel by the hair. Alicia with an elbow and a boot to the head. Alicia with a few near falls. Alicia with a knee to the back. Asuka with hip strikes to escape. Alicia paint brushes Asuka but Asuka returns fire with a series of strikes and a drop kick. Asuka with a waist lock but Fox with an elbow. Fox misses the scissors kick and Asuka with a round kick and a back heel kick.

Asuka with the cross arm breaker and Alicia taps out.

Winner: Asuka

After the match, Asuka’s music plays and they make their way to the ring. They surround the ring and Asuka looks around. Paige waves at Asuka and Asuka leaves.

Paige tells Alicia to relax. She says she is not here to hurt Alicia. Paige says Alicia is her friend. She was the only one who liked Paige last year. She is her best friend. You have to believe that from the bottom of her heart that she loves Alicia. Paige says she doesn’t think that Sonya and Mandy feel the same way. Sonya and Mandy get on the apron and then they enter the ring and attack Alicia. Mandy with a running knee and Sonya with a Sliding knee to Fox.

Finn Balor walks in the back as we go to commercial.

– We are back with a look at Charlotte Flair and her role in the Psych movie.

Finn Balor vs. Bo Dallas

Bo with a side head lock and shoulder tackle for a near fall. Balor sends Dallas into the turnbuckles and punches him. Balor with a snap mare followed by a kick to the back and he gets a near fall. Bo with a knee and sunset flip but Balor rolls through and hits a drop kick for a near fall. Balor with a hammer lock and Dallas backs him into the corner. Balor goes to the apron and Bo with a punch to stop the enzuigiri. Balor with a kick to the chest and then Balor goes up top. Axel kicks the steps to distract Balor and Dallas pulls Balor off the turnbuckles. Bo with knees to the chest.

Bo with a punch to the midsection. Bo with a kick to the midsection and ribs. Bo with a gutbuster for a near fall. Bo with an arm bar and he sends Balor to the mat. Bo with kicks to the ribs and then he drops a knee into the ribs. Bo with a knee to the midsection and he pushes Balor into the corner. Balor with a boot and running forearms. Balor with a double leg take down into a double stomp. Balor with a chop. Bo sends Balor sternum first into the turnbuckles and gets a near fall with a rollup. Balor with Slingblade followed by a running drop kick that sends Bo into the corner. Balor goes up top for the Coup de Grace and the three count.

Winner: Finn Balor

– We see how The New Day helped The Bar win the RAW Tag Team Titles from Ambrose & Rollins last month. Still to come, Rollins & Ambrose get their rematch. Also, a look at Matt Hardy’s awakening. We go to commercial.

– Back from the break and the announcers show us Matt Hardy’s post-match breakdown after last week’s loss to Bray Wyatt. We also see some of Hardy’s bizarre “woken” tweets. The graphics flash and we cut to Bray Wyatt backstage. Wyatt asks who is Matt Hardy and says he knows, the fans know but Matt himself does not know. The video is interrupted by Matt, who has a few “Broken” style words for Wyatt before the video cuts back to Wyatt. Wyatt calls Matt a coward and goes on until the video cuts back to “Woken” Matt. The video cuts back and forth a few more times. Matt says thanks to the consumer of terrestrial entities, he has been woken. Wyatt says last week was not Matt’s breaking point, it was his. Wyatt actually feels alive again. His heart is pumping and there’s a fire inside of him that will only grow stronger. That fire will not cleanse you or save you, it will make sure all of you burn. Matt says Wyatt left him with no choice. Matt sentences Wyatt to… deletion! The video cuts once again as Wyatt laughs. Matt laughs. Wyatt laughs. This happens a few more times and ends with a bizarre Hardy. Fans are chanting “Delete!” in the arena now as the announcers try to make sense of what we just saw.

RAW Tag Team Title Match: Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose vs. Cesaro and Sheamus

We go to the ring and out first comes Seth Rollins for tonight’s main event. Dean Ambrose joins him as 2/3 of The Shield hits the ring. Back to commercial.

Back from the break and Kane vs. Strowman plus Gulak vs. Swann is confirmed for next week’s RAW in Cleveland. Back to the ring and out come RAW Tag Team Champions The Bar. We get formal ring introductions from JoJo. We see Roman Reigns backstage watching the match.

Ambrose and Cesaro start things off and Ambrose with a side head lock and shoulder tackle. Ambrose with arm drags into an arm bar. Cesaro with a knee and he tags in Sheamus. Dean takes care of Cesaro and he punches and kicks Sheamus in the corner. Cesaro pulls Rollins off the apron to prevent the tag and Sheamus kicks Ambrose. Cesaro tags in and he kicks Ambrose.

Sheamus tags in and they hit the double thrust kick. Sheamus with a running boot to the head and then he chokes Ambrose. Cesaro chokes Ambrose in the ropes when Sheamus distracts the referee. Sheamus with a key lock. Ambrose kicks Sheamus from the turnbuckles and Seth is tagged in. Rollins with a blockbuster to Sheamus followed by Slingblade for a near fall. Rollins knocks Sheamus off the apron and he goes for a pescado but Cesaro pulls Sheamus out of the way and then he sends Rollins into the ring post.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Cesaro with a bear hug. Sheamus tags in and he kicks Rollins and they hit a double clothesline. Sheamus puts Rollins in the ropes and he connects with a few forearms across the chest and Cesaro tags in. Cesaro with a waist lock and belly-to-back suplex for a near fall. Sheamus tags in and gets a near fall. Sheamus with a top wrist lock on Rollins. Rollins with chops and he knocks Cesaro off the apron. Both men are down in the ring.

Cesaro tags in and he applies a front face lock and backs Rollins into his corner. Cesaro works on the arm and hyperextends it. Rollins tries to get Cesaro into his corner but Cesaro is too strong to allow it. It is a two man battle to try to make the tag but Cesaro kicks Dean off the apron. Rollins with a back body drop and Rollins cannot make the tag. Sheamus tags in and he elevates Rollins for a European uppercut from Cesaro. Sheamus gets a near fall.

Sheamus returns to the top wrist lock. Rollins with a super kick to Sheamus and he goes to the floor. Dean gets to the apron but Seth goes to the wrong corner at first. Ambrose makes the tag and connects with clotheslines but Cesaro with a kick. Ambrose with a back body drop to send Cesaro over the top rope to the floor. Ambrose with a baseball slide to Sheamus. Dean goes for a suicide dive but Cesaro with a forearm. Cesaro with a cross body but Dean rolls through. Dean with a rollup for a near fall.

Ambrose avoids a Brogue Kick from Sheamus and clotheslines him over the top rope. Dean gets a near fall. Sheamus kicks Dean and Cesaro gets a near fall. Sheamus tags in and Cesaro gets him up but Dean crotches Sheamus. Dean with a rana that sends Cesaro into the turnbuckles. Rollins tags in and he leaps to the turnbuckles and hits a superplex and rolls through into a Falcon Arrow but Cesaro breaks up the cover.

Cesaro punches Rollins and he tags in. Cesaro sets for the Gotch Style Neutralizer but Rollins with a forearm. Rollins goes for the V Trigger but Cesaro counters with a European uppercut. Rollins with a V Trigger but Sheamus breaks up the cover. Sheamus with a knee to Ambrose and he continues the attack on Rollins so the referee calls for the bell.

Winners: Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose (by disqualification)

After the match, Kurt Angle comes out and he has something to say. Cesaro and Sheamus are not getting off that easily. They will have a chance to prove it. The match will be restarted as a No Disqualification Match.

Rollins and Ambrose with a double suicide dive and then they send Cesaro into the crowd and then Sheamus is sent into the ring steps. Cesaro with a European uppercut and Dean with a rebound clothesline and Rollins with a splash but Dean can only get a near fall. Samoa Joe attacks Rollins and he hits a uranage on Ambrose. Roman Reigns comes out and he goes to the floor but Reigns with a Superman punch to Cesaro. Sheamus with a Brogue Kick to Ambrose and he puts Cesaro on top of Ambrose for the three count.

Winners: Sheamus and Cesaro

After the match, The Bar takes the titles and leaves with Joe through the crowd as their music hits. Reigns looks on from the ring as Rollins and Ambrose recover. RAW goes off the air.
