– WWE has a new poll asking fans the most shocking moment on this week’s post-SummerSlam edition of SmackDown – Bobby Roode’s debut, AJ Styles retaining the WWE United States Title over Kevin Owens in a match that had two special referees, Shelton Benjamin’s return as Chad Gable’s partner, Dolph Ziggler’s bizarre message backstage or Shinsuke Nakamura defeating The Singh Brothers and fending off WWE Champion Jinder Mahal. As of this writing, 48% voted for Roode’s debut win over Aiden English while 33% went with Benjamin’s return, 9% with AJ’s main event win, 6% for Nakamura’s Handicap Match win and the rest with Ziggler’s return as a backstage interviewer.
– We noted on Monday night how Enzo Amore took shots at Big Cass following the leg injury that Cass suffered during their Brooklyn Street Fight. As seen below, Enzo continued ranting on his former tag team partner and the injury. WWE has since announces that Cass suffered a torn ACL and possibly a medial meniscus tear. He’s set to undergo surgery this week and could be out of action for around 9 months. Enzo wrote the following:

– This week’s WWE SmackDown, featuring fallout from Sunday’s SummerSlam pay-per-view, drew 2.685 million viewers. This is up from last week’s 2.530 million viewers and is the best number for the blue brand in months. The show featured Kevin Owens vs. WWE United States Champion AJ Styles in the main event with Baron Corbin as the special referee, plus Bobby Roode’s unannounced main roster debut and Shelton Benjamin’s unannounced return to the company.
