– Finn Balor’s alter ego, “The Demon King”, has been absent from WWE TV for almost a year, and according to SportsKeeda, there are plans for the character to return to WWE TV.
Finn Balor is currently scheduled to face Bray Wyatt at WWE SummerSlam this month, and the Demon King character will be brought back for the match against Wyatt.
Balor last used his Demon King character at SummerSlam last year in Brooklyn, when he defeated Seth Rollins for the Universal Title, and one year later the character will make its return.
– With Brock Lesnar being advertised for the upcoming WWE No Mercy pay-per-view on September 24th, it is very unlikely that WWE would pull him from the show to advance a storyline where he leaves the company.
It was recently indicated on Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE added the “Lesnar leaves WWE” stipulation to intrigue the Fatal 4-Way match on card and to capitalize off the Jon Jones vs. Lesnar speculation. Unless there is a change of plans, Lesnar is expected to retain the Universal Title and continue to defend it.
As previously reported, if Lesnar does decide to fight Jones, it won’t happen until after next year’s WrestleMania event.
We will keep you updated if there is a change in plans.
