As noted in our earlier storyline update on SmackDown General Manager Daniel Bryan and WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz, WWE announced that the two had entered into “contract negotiations” as Miz wanted new terms and Bryan wanted to keep that title on the blue brand.
WWE posted another storyline update noting that talks between the two have broken down with no equitable agreement decided on. Below are Twitter posts from Bryan and Miz, and a lengthy Facebook Live video from Greg Hamilton and Miz, where he teases a potential trade to RAW. Miz says if Bryan and Shane McMahon don’t like him, then they should trade him to RAW because Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley will do right by him. Miz says negotiations are over and he’s prepared to take his talents to RAW as he has no allegiance to SmackDown but if he’s on the blue show, he will do what he has to do to make it the best. Miz also knocks Bryan’s work as General Manager, saying he’s great in the ring but not as General Manager.
