Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting ECW Original Balls Mahoney (Jonathan Rechner) was watching Jeopardy and answering trivia questions moments before he passed away on Tuesday night.
Pro Wrestling Sheet’s Ryan Satin spoke with Mahoney’s wife, Gayle, who said Mahoney had been watching television before he tried getting more comfortable on the couch. She says moments later, she noticed Mahoney was unconscious and she called 911 before trying CPR to revive him, but Mahoney had already passed by the time medics arrived.
Gayle confirmed previous reports that Mahoney had taken a bad fall last week, but she was unsure if the incident had anything to do with his death. A GoFundMe campaign was set up earlier this morning to help take care of Gayle and the couple’s son, as well as assist with funeral expenses.
