Adam Page Diagnosed With Concussion – As seen below, AEW has issued an official statement regarding the health of ‘Hangman’ Adam Page after the main event of AEW Dynamite was stopped after he was injured.
According to the statement:
“Hangman Adam Page was taken tonight by medical personnel to a Cincinnati trauma center and diagnosed with a concussion. He was discharge, but will remain in AEW’s concussion protocol.
“AEW and Hangman Page are grateful for the exemplary response and care of staff and local medical personnel, and are appreciative of the love and support of fans everywhere.”
Hangman Adam Page appeared to suffer an injury during the main event of tonight’s Title Tuesday edition of AEW Dynamite.
The injury happened with about 10 minutes left in the show. Hangman took a stiff lariat from Moxley. Shortly after, Hangman was seen holding the back of his neck.
Doc Sampson and officials went in to check on Page and the match was ultimately stopped and Moxley was declared the winner. Hopefully, it’s not a career-threatening injury but it looks like it’s very serious.
Hangman Adam Page required a stretcher transport out of the ring as the crew loosened the bottom rope to safely evacuate Page from the ring.
As he was being transported away from the ringside area via gurney, the crowd could be heard chanting “Cowboy S**t.”
There were about 10 minutes left in the show when the injury occurred. The cameras did not shoot anything close up and they instead focused on Moxley.
As Excalibur went through the upcoming matches for AEW Rampage and AEW Dynamite, Taz was noticeably distracted as then the production went through a rapid change.
