WWE RAW Results (9/05)

WWE RAW Results (9/05) – We are live from the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, MO, as Edge makes his way to the ring and we see what happened at Clash at the Castle.

Edge mentions Dominik. He says he has known him since his father came to the WWE when you were five years old. We used to hang out in catering. We would run shows in San Diego and I would stay at your home. I got tattoos with your father. I talked you down before your first match in front of a live audience. You always felt like a nephew to me, but you don’t feel the same way. What is going on? Was it because I speared you that night? It was an accident and I apologized. My gut told me to take care of it, but my heart overrode things.

I didn’t come back to get between you and your dad. I came back to help you and your dad. THE Judgment Day is my fault and they made your life hell. After what you did on Saturday, I know he raised you better than that. You and your dad can hash it out however you want. I am not looking at you like that kid I saw grow up, I see you as a WWE Superstar. A man’s game pays a man’s price.

You need to come to the ring and we are not going to talk, I am going to beat your ass. GET DOWN HERE RIGHT NOW!

Rey Mysterio’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring.

Rey wants Edge to hear him out. He says he knows his son messed up big. He is asking for an apology on his behalf. Dominik is still his son. He asks Edge not to do this.

Edge tells Rey he knows how he feels about Rey and he loves him. Your son is old enough to drink, he is old enough to drive, he is old enough to set foot in this ring, and he is old enough to deal with the consequences.

Edge is angrier now as he yells for Dominik to get his ass out here now. The music hits and out comes Rhea Ripley instead.

Ripley laughs and tells Edge to calm down because Edge and Rey both got exactly what was coming to them. She says Edge thought he could replace Dominik like he didn’t even matter, and Rey thought he could protect Dominik just because he’s his baby boy, but the fact is Dominik is not Rey’s little boy anymore. Rhea says she saw potential in Dominik and she made him into a man. Dominik comes walking out in all black, with his hair slicked back.

Rey tells his son to snap out of it, he still has time to make things right with Edge. Rhea says Dominik is no longer listening to Rey, Rey can’t keep fighting his battles for him. Rhea says Edge is past his time because he can’t stop his judgment day. Fans chant “who’s your daddy?” now. Rhea and Dominik start walking to the ring now. Rey tells Edge to do what he has to do. Dominik comes in from behind and drops Edge with a chop block. Edge is attacked by Balor and Priest again. Rey walks back down the ramp and confronts Dominik and Rhea at ringside. Dominik shoves his father and Rhea hits him from behind. Rhea then launches Rey into the steel ring steps. Priest with a South of Heaven chokeslam to Edge in the middle of the ring. Ripley hands a steel chair to Dominik, and he hands it into the ring to Balor. Balor takes the chair and smashes it into the back of Edge’s knee a few times. Balor now wraps the chair around Edge’s knee and Priest holds it there, while Edge is still face-down. Balor goes to the top and hits a Coup de Grace on Edge’s knee with the chair around it. Rey returns to the ring as The Judgment Day retreats to the floor. Fans boo as Priest, Dominik, Ripley and Balor stand tall together at ringside. Dominik looks on with a smirk. We go to commercial.

– Back from the break and we see footage from earlier today of The Miz and Tommaso Ciampa arriving to RAW. Ciampa now has his first name back. Sarah Schreiber asks about tonight and Miz is ready to face WWE United States Champion Bobby Lashley in the Steel Cage. Miz won’t talk about Dexter Lumis, and Ciampa accuses Schreiber of stirring up drama. Ciampa says Miz is the real victim here. Miz looks over and sees a car flipped over, and he’s a bit surprised. He and Ciampa continue walking to the venue. (Click here for a possible BIG spoiler about this segment).

In the Arena:

Austin Theory makes his way to the ring.

Theory says he knows things didn’t go as planned on Saturday as he holds his jaw. Theory says Crown Jewel was a success, he means Clash at the Castle. Theory tells everyone to shut up. Theory says all of you wanted him to fail at his cash in, but here he is, still the youngest Money in the Bank briefcase holder in WWE. He is the future Undisputed Chamipon.

The difference between me and all of you is that when I get knocked down, I get back up. Even if it is a sucker punch from a world champion like Tyson Fury. Roman Reigns is still champion. Theory says he is glad that Roman is still champion. Drew completely embarrassed himself in front of his friends and family. Him and Roman have some unfinished business. Soon, I will cash in this contract and end Roman’s two year reign as champion.

Kevin Owens comes out to the stage.

Kevin wants to know what is wrong with Austin’s jaw. He says he remembers that Theory got knocked the hell out. Kevin says that Theory got KO’ed. Kevin says that he found his first name so he can call him Austin again. Kevin says more than anything, he hates arrogant and delusional people in this industry. We have had some delusional people and you won’t be the last one. Right now, you are at the top of the list. You are complaining about what Tyson Fury did to you, but at CLASH AT THE CASTLE, Tyson did you a favor. If you had been able to cash in the contract, either Drew or Roman would have put you into the ground and you would have lost that opportunity forever.

Austin says that Owens doesn’t know what he is talking about. Theory says that Owens is jealous. You keep talking about championships but haven’t won one in years. I am climbing the ladder of success like you couldn’t. You can be first in line when I cash in.

Kevin says he knows why Drew and Roman would have beaten him. He was in the ring with both of them and Drew couldn’t beat him without the Usos. Eighteen months ago, I had Roman beaten and everyone knows if it wasn’t for Jey Uso and Paul Heyman, he would have ended Roman’s run six months in. The only reason you are in the ring with the contract is because I wasn’t in the Money in the Bank match. I would have won the match and been the one to take Roman down.

Austin says that sounds great but that sounds like fairy tale land. You are just trying to stay relevant while I am the hand picked choice.

Kevin says he tries to stay relevant and that is why he is where he is today. You were the hand picked future, but not any more. Kevin asks if anyone else sees where this is going. A referee will run from the back and slide into the ring… and a referee comes out to the ring.

Bianca says it took the three of you to take her down. If that is what it takes to make you think you are in control, that is fine. Bianca says you might have your minions, but I have this (as she holds the title belt). Unless it is one on one and unless you got this, you’re in control of nothing.

Bayley asks if that is right.

They circle Bianca and then Bayley has Iyo and Dakota stand next to her and they leave the ring. Bayley says she already beat Bianca so she has nothing else to prove. You are still the same Bianca Belair trying to play Ms. Perfect. Your fragile little ego can’t handle this one loss. Now you want to challenge me to make it feel like a fluke.
