At WWE WrestleMania 36 Night Two, Drew McIntyre challenged Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship after earning the title match by winning the 2020 WWE Men’s Royal Rumble.
Lesnar immediately took the fight to McIntyre but a Claymore Kick out of nowhere earned the challenger a two count. Lesnar dodged a second Claymore Kick and took McIntyre to Suplex City. McIntyre kicked out of an F5 after a one count. Another F5 earned Lesnar a two count. Lesnar hit a third F5 for a near fall. The Beast Incarnate shrieked with rage.
Lesnar countered a fourth F5 and hit three more Claymore Kicks for the win. McIntyre dethroned Lesnar and won the WWE Championship.
This is Drew’s first reign with the WWE Title. Lesnar on October 4, 2019 by defeating Kofi Kingston at the SmackDown 20th anniversary special.
