Shawn Spears Revives ‘Perfect 10’ Entrance Theme at NXT Live Event

Surprising fans during an international live event, Shawn Spears brought back his classic Perfect 10 entrance theme during a WWE NXT show in Canada.

Nostalgia hit the squared circle during a recent international stop for WWE’s developmental brand. During the October 15 NXT live event in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, veteran performer Shawn Spears treated the live audience to a blast from the past.

The NXT Superstar surprised fans by bringing back his iconic “Perfect 10” entrance theme ahead of an eight-man tag team match. Spears teamed up with Shiloh Hill, Tavion Heights, and Tony D’Angelo to face off against the BirthRight stable.

A Nod to the Tye Dillinger Era

The familiar musical cue immediately resonated with long-time viewers who recall Spears’ initial breakout run in the brand.

  • The “Perfect 10” persona originally cemented Spears as a beloved fan favorite when he competed under the name Tye Dillinger during his tenure beginning in 2015.
  • Since making his official return to WWE in 2024, Spears has adopted a much darker, calculated persona as the leader of The Culling faction, which currently features stablemates Niko Vance and Izzi Dame.

While the unexpected throwback generated a strong reaction from the Canadian crowd, it remains unconfirmed whether the entrance music was a one-time special nod for the live event circuit or a hint at evolving character directions on television.
