The October 13 episode of WWE NXT ended on a spooky note, with “Very Nice, Very Evil” superstar Danhausen officially teasing his arrival to host the upcoming NXT Halloween Havoc Premium Live Event.
Spooky Ending Closes WWE NXT Broadcast
The closing segment of the broadcast saw NXT General Manager Robert Stone return to his office, where he discovered an unsigned letter waiting on his desk.
Upon reading the message aloud, Stone delivered the ominous threat directly to the audience:
- The Note: “Make me the host of Halloween Havoc, or you are cursed.”
- Supernatural Signs: Immediately after Stone read the warning, the overhead lights in his office began flickering wildly as the signature eerie laughter of Danhausen echoed throughout the building.
- Official Host Role: Following the broadcast, NXT Senior Vice President Shawn Michaels confirmed on social media that Danhausen will indeed serve as the official host for the annual spooktacular on October 31.
The crossover appearance marks another major milestone for Danhausen within WWE. On main roster television, the quirky character has recently been pestilentially following GUNTHER around on Friday Night SmackDown, drawing the physical wrath of “The Ring General” in the process.
Updated NXT Halloween Havoc 2026 Match Card
With Danhausen set to oversee the festivities on Saturday, October 31, the official match lineup for Halloween Havoc continues to take shape:
- NXT Championship Match: Grayson Waller (c) vs. Tony D’Angelo
- NXT Women’s Championship Match: Kelani Jordan (c) vs. Wren Sinclair
