The Miz Blames Danhausen and Nick Aldis for His WWE Absence

The Miz has been off WWE television for weeks, and he has made it clear who he believes is responsible. The former WWE Champion pointed directly at Danhausen for leaving him in rough shape, while also placing blame on SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis for allowing the situation to unfold.

During an interview with Denise Salcedo ahead of SummerSlam in Minneapolis, Miz was asked about his history with Danhausen. He immediately stayed in character and made it clear that nothing about their feud has been enjoyable for him. Miz claimed Danhausen’s antics left him physically and mentally wrecked, which ultimately pushed him off WWE programming.

“I was made into a vegetable. I’ve been made into a zombie for the past four months, and I haven’t been on television in a month because of him.”

Miz didn’t stop there. He also targeted Nick Aldis, accusing the general manager of failing to protect WWE talent and allowing Danhausen to cross dangerous lines. Miz referenced the storyline incident where Danhausen electrocuted a Superstar, insisting Aldis should have stepped in long before things escalated.

“I blame Dan, and I blame Nick Aldis. Those are the two people I blame. Nick Aldis allowed a person to electrocute his Superstars.”

Miz then took another shot at Aldis, claiming the GM became too focused on his own issues with GUNTHER and stopped doing the job he was hired to do.

“He’s so busy with GUNTHER that he forgot his job was to be general manager and protect his talent.”

Miz kept the spotlight on both Danhausen and Nick Aldis, insisting they were responsible for everything that happened to him. His comments made it clear that whenever he steps back onto WWE programming, he’ll be carrying a score to settle with the two men he believes put him on the shelf.

The tension surrounding the storyline suggests that whenever Miz steps back into the spotlight, he won’t be arriving quietly.
