The chaotic landscape of TNA tag team wrestling has just added an intimidating new powerhouse. Erick Redbeard made a surprise and destructive debut during TNA Bound for Glory 2026, immediately aligning himself with syX to help them secure a brutal victory over The Hardys in a Falls Count Anywhere match.
From the opening bell, the clash between Matt and Jeff Hardy and the tandem of Joseph Sawyer and Samuel Shaw lived up to its violent stipulation. The action quickly spilled out of the ring, carrying the fight past the barricade, through the live crowd, and deep into the concourse.
Amidst the chaos, Shaw was slammed onto a merchandise table, while Jeff Hardy soared down a railing with a devastating clothesline onto Sawyer. The violence escalated further when The Hardys set up tables beneath a balcony, culminating in a jaw-dropping moment as Jeff came crashing down with a Swanton Bomb through Shaw and the wood below.
As the brawl worked its way back toward the entrance area, Matt and Jeff pulled out ladders and additional tables, positioning Sawyer and Shaw for what looked to be the final nail in the coffin.
However, the momentum shifted entirely when Erick Redbeard suddenly emerged from the backstage area. The imposing veteran blindsided The Hardys, brutally launching both Matt and Jeff through tables to completely shatter their offensive advantage. Redbeard’s immediate intervention made his intentions crystal clear, throwing his massive weight behind Sawyer and Shaw.
Capitalizing on the carnage, syX dragged the battered Hardys back toward the squared circle. They finished off Jeff with a punishing combination suplex and powerbomb, followed by Sawyer driving Shaw down onto both legendary brothers for the decisive pinfall.
The high-profile victory gives syX a massive statement win, but Redbeard’s arrival alters the power dynamic of the entire division. By aligning with Sawyer and Shaw without needing a word, Redbeard has instantly positioned syX as one of the most dangerous and volatile factions in TNA.
